This sweet holiday recipe is sure to bring a touch of magic to your festivities!
In this post, we’re going to whip up some OREO Reindeer Truffle Balls – a fun
and easy treat that’s perfect for spreading joy and smiles during the holiday
season. These adorable reindeer truffle balls are not only delicious but also a
fantastic family activity.

Earlier this year I published these turkey OREO balls for Thanksgiving and I am
thrilled to add this Christmas version to the blog today!

The holiday season is the perfect time to try out some new recipes and treats.
Personally I love anything that is green and red or somehow fits with the
Christmas theme. You can make just about anything on your menu Christmas themed
– from the drinks to the apps to desserts!

I love these reindeer OREO truffle balls because they are simple to make (no
baking required) and look really cute on the dessert table.

REINDEER OREO TRUFFLE BALLS

Follow the directions below and see below for a printable recipe card.

INGREDIENTS

Let’s start by gathering our ingredients for these merry little OREO Reindeer
Truffle Balls:

 * 36 OREO cookies, finely crushed
 * 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
 * 2 cups chocolate chips, melted
 * 30 mini pretzels
 * 60 candy eyes
 * 30 red M&Ms

HOW TO MAKE REINDEER OREO TRUFFLE BALLS:

Step 1: The Oreo Cookie Transformation In a bowl, combine the finely crushed
Oreo cookies and the softened cream cheese. Mix them together until you achieve
a smooth and creamy consistency. This delicious blend forms the core of our
reindeer truffle balls.

Step 2: Shaping the Reindeer Now, it’s time to get your hands a little messy,
but it’s all part of the fun! Use a tablespoon or a small cookie scoop to
portion out the Oreo mixture and roll it into bite-sized balls. Place each ball
on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Once all your Oreo mixture has been
transformed into little balls, pop the sheet into the refrigerator for at least
30 minutes to chill.

Step 3: Crafting the Reindeer’s Antlers While your Oreo balls are chilling,
let’s work on the reindeer’s antlers. Carefully cut each mini pretzel in half,
and set them aside. These will soon become the antlers that give our reindeer
character and charm.

Step 4: Bringing the Reindeer to Life The real magic begins when you’re ready to
decorate! Melt the chocolate chips, and dip each chilled Oreo ball into the
melted chocolate, ensuring it’s coated on all sides. Place the chocolate-covered
ball back on the parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Immediately, press two
pretzel halves into the top of the ball to create the reindeer’s antlers. Then,
add two candy eyes to give your reindeer a sweet and mischievous expression.
Finally, complete the look by pressing a red M&M into the center of the ball to
create the reindeer’s adorable nose.

Step 5: A Quick Chill for Extra Delight Once your reindeer truffle balls are
decorated to perfection, return the baking sheet to the refrigerator for another
30 minutes. This will allow the chocolate to harden.

OREO REINDEER TRUFFLE BALLS

Enjoy this no-bake OREO truffle recipe and decorate them to look like reindeer
for a festive dessert.

Prep Time1 hour hr

Course: Dessert
Cuisine: American
Keyword: christmas, oreo, truffle
Servings: 15

EQUIPMENT

 * 1 baking sheet
 * Parchment paper
 * cookie dough scoop
 * mixing bowl

INGREDIENTS

 * 36 OREO cookies finely crushed
 * 8 oz cream cheese softened
 * 2 cups chocolate chips melted
 * 30 mini pretzels
 * 60 candy eyes
 * 30 red m&ms

INSTRUCTIONS

 * In a bowl, combine the finely crushed Oreo cookies and the softened cream
   cheese. Mix them together until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency.

 * Use a tablespoon or a small cookie scoop to portion out the Oreo mixture and
   roll it into bite-sized balls.

 * Place each ball on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Once all your Oreo
   mixture has been transformed into little balls, pop the sheet into the
   refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to chill.

 * Carefully cut each mini pretzel in half, and set them aside. These will soon
   become the antlers.

 * Melt the chocolate chips, and dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted
   chocolate, ensuring it’s coated on all sides. Place the chocolate-covered
   ball back on the parchment paper-lined baking sheet.

 * Immediately, press two pretzel halves into the top of the ball to create the
   reindeer’s antlers.

 * Add two candy eyes and a red M&M into the center of the ball to create the
   reindeer’s face.
