ABOUT THEWHIMSICALLOTUS

On Etsy since 2022
Long process but I know in my heart it will be worth it.
I had an idea to start a website in 2012. I was at the beach and wrote down the
name of the website since I already knew exactly what I was going to name it. I
bought the site and have had it since. I used it as a blog but unfortunately,
due to my job, I wasn’t able to write as much as I wanted due to my stressful,
demanding job.
My next idea came about 2 years ago and it was to open an Etsy store, but again,
my super-busy job in finance didn’t allow me the time to focus on doing what I
wanted to do.
So recently I made a huge decision. I decided to get out of my stressful
industry and do more of what I love. No more 60 to 70 hour work weeks and more
working on my mental health and personal relationships. Life is too short to do
what I was doing. I needed to slow down and enjoy what I was doing. And I am so
much happier for doing it.
My shop is still “technically” not really open considering my inventory will be
being added slowly. I am taking my time and not rushing but I plan on having
some really cute items. I am going to sell things that I would buy if I were on
Etsy {and likely already have}. I am going to have a variety of items and
customizable gifts and I am super excited!
I look forward to working with each one of you and customer service has always
been my #1 TOP PRIORITY throughout my career and will continue to be so!
