Working at one of India's leading social media center "Samvaad" at Coca-Cola
India. I have been working on brands like Coca-Cola, Coke Zero, Sprite, Coke
Studio, Limca, ThumsUp and Minute Maid to award winning campaigns like Coke
Wishes, ThumsUp Pro Wrestling, ThumsUp Pro Kabaddi.

I have also closely worked with the Public Affairs and Comms team at Coca-Cola
India to bring their sustainability projects to light namely Support My School,
ThumsUp VEER and Anandana Foundation. Support My School Telethon 2015 is also an
award winning integrated marketing campaign.

Being at Samvaad research and data driven marketing is a primary goal. I have
conducted research projects on consumer behaviour and I am well versed with
leading industry tools like SYSOMOS, NETBASE, SYSOMOS GAZE, SPRINKLR, EXPION,
TABLEAU.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE

NATIONAL EVENTS AND MARKETING STRATEGIST MAR 2014 - MAR 2015

MAD reaches out to children at risk in orphanages and street shelters and
implements projects that provide these children with the skills that guarantee
employment, role models they can relate to and exposure that helps them dream
big.


Currently, close to 2000 Make A Difference volunteers work with about 5000
children in the Indian cities of Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh,
Chennai, Cochin, Coimbatore, Dehradun, Delhi, Guntur, Gwalior, Hyderabad,
Kolkata, Lucknow, Mangalore, Mumbai, Mysore, Nagpur, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram,
Vellore, Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam.
 

As the National Events and Marketing Strategist,I work as an idea-generator
that'll help city teams to attract the like minded and potential volunteers to
the organisation and also raise funds. I with my team also design campaigns and
events for corporate engagement.

Methodology for Software development as the company is now attaining an agile
approach towards its development process.


I understood the need and documentation guidelines for Functional Specification

MAKE A DIFFERENCE

PUBLIC RELATIONS FELLOW JUN 2013 - MAY 2014

Make a Difference empowers children living in orphanages and street shelters to
discover their true strengths and unleash their full potential. We are a
movement of young people taking ownership of the institutionalized children in
our community.

 

As a PR fellow I worked towards the increasing the outreach of MAD in Chennai by
organizing events in Chennai and pan-India and building media relations for the
years to come. I closely worked with Human Resource team to co-create
recruitment campaigns and volunteer engagement plans both online and on-ground.

 

During the fellowship the team organised Back-a-thon an event where participants
significantly walk backwards to push illiteracy back on September,8 2013 World
Literacy Day. Chennai had the highest participation with 400 participants
walking the change. We also organised a MAD week to celebrate MAD's birthday
which was spread across seven days.

BACK-A-THON

A BACK-A-THON, UNLIKE THE MORE POPULAR MARATHON, IS AN EVENT IN WHICH
PARTICIPANTS WALK BACKWARD IN A UNIFORM FASHION. MORE OF A SOCIAL GATHERING THAN
A SPORTING EVENT, THE BACKWARD WALK SIGNIFIES AN INTENT TO PUSH BACK
DETERIORATING SOCIAL VALUES; WHICH IN THIS CASE IS THE GROWING LEVEL OF
ILLITERACY PLAGUING THE COUNTRY. AS PER LATEST GOVERNMENT STATISTICS, FOR EVERY
THREE CHILDREN IN A SHELTER HOME WHO MANAGE TO FINISH THEIR 12TH GRADE, THERE
ARE 97 WHO DROP OUT.

PUSHING CHILD ILLITERACY BACKWARDS, LITERALLY, YOUTH VOLUNTEERS OF NON-PROFIT
CHILD EMPOWERMENT ORGANISATION MAKE A DIFFERENCE (MAD) WILL FLAG OFF A
‘BACK-A-THON’ ACROSS 20 INDIAN CITIES ON SEPTEMBER 8TH TO MARK THE OCCASION OF
WORLD LITERACY DAY.

MAD WEEK STARTED OFF ON THE CONCEPT OF RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS AND EVENTUALLY
DEVELOPED INTO A WEEK LONG ACTIVITY THAT IS CONDUCTED EVERY YEAR IN THE FIRST
WEEK OF NOVEMBER.

THE CLIENTS.

 

I AM WORKING WITH ZORBA'S BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT TEAM TO INCREASE THEIR ONLINE
PRESENCE AND OUTREACH IN THE MARKET. CURRENTLY I HAVE WORKED ON THE PROGRAM
DESIGN AND EXECUTION PLAN OF CHENNAI'S FIRST EVER MEGA HEALTH SALE BY ZORBA FROM
APRIL 15TH- 30TH, 2015

I worked towards conducting this event twice, for the first time I handled the
pan- india media relations and which led to 100 print and 16 Media conversions
in 23 cities with a participation of 2000+ participants. In Chennai I worked
with a team of 15 volunteers for the on-ground execution of the event and
successfully completed the event with maximum number of participants (400) in
the entire country.

Happiness is contagious is the caption under which 2100 volunteers over 23
cities are celebrating what they call, the MAD week. November 1st '14 being the
8th birthday of Make A Difference is celebrated for seven days where the MAD
Volunteers are seen all over, spreading happiness in every way possible. Over
the past 8 years, MAD has impacted the lives of thousands of children through
the English Project, Library Project and the Placements Project. MAD, today, is
a platform that empowers youth to become change leaders who make positive social
impact and create self sustaining communities. A series of events are planned
for the entire week, which will be executed as per schedule. After all,
happiness is magnified only when it is shared. Happiness is
absolutely contagious!

 

I worked towards conceptualizing the events and activities and media relations
for Chennai as a PR fellow and consecutively in 2014 worked with fellows of 23
cities to support them with event idea generation, plan of action and execution
remotely from Chennai.

payment app, PayTM. It has been featured in numerous national publications and
TV news, generating traffic of 15,000 consumers to Wendy's and Carls Jr. stores
in Gurgaon.
