How long does it take for dogs to mate?

The mating process for dogs can vary, but typically, the actual copulation lasts
between 10 to 30 minutes. The entire mating session, including courtship
behaviors, can take longer, sometimes up to an hour or more.
How to know if a dog is ready to mate?

A female dog is ready to mate when she is in estrus, also known as being "in
heat." Signs include a swollen vulva, a bloody or straw-colored discharge, and
increased receptivity to male dogs.
How long does it take for a dog to be pregnant after mating?

After successful mating, it usually takes about 48 to 72 hours for fertilization
to occur. However, determining pregnancy might take a few weeks. Signs of
