Clinical trials can change lives. Learn how to get involved...

Join us at CISCRP’s free, educational event to learn what clinical trials are,
why they are important, and how you can get involved. AWARE for All – San Diego
will feature a panel discussion lead by community members who have participated
in a clinical trial or work as a healthcare professional. This event will also
feature both local and national exhibiting organizations with resources about
clinical research and the programs and services they offer.

Event Agenda:

•5:00 PM: The Informational Exhibit Center opens

 * Access free health screenings and visit exhibits from research, advocacy,
   community, and wellness organizations.

•6:00 PM: Welcome & Opening Remarks

•6:10-6:30 PM: Clinical Research Overview Presentation

 * Topics include: the basics of the clinical trial process, the safeguards in
   place, the importance of diversity in trials, and more.

•6:30-7:30 PM: Speaker Panel

 * Hear from knowledgeable healthcare and research professionals, and from
   community members who have participated in a clinical trial.

• 7:30-7:45 PM: Closing Remarks & Raffle
