Hello, my name is Uncle Yuu, I'm the creator of the webcomics, Neo Knights,
Rival Hearts and Echo: My Daily Life. I've been writing for a couple years now
and am currently taking television classes at Columbia College in Chicago. I've
always been fond of cartoons and anime, especially fantasy and superhero shows.
I started Neo Knights because I wanted to make my own, I wanted to have a team
of my very own, whose stories I could tell and Echo came about because I wanted
to explore a "what if" scenario where an imaginary friend becomes real rather
than stay imaginary.




I really like sort of team stories, shows like Power Rangers really encouraged
that. I like seeing the day-by-day lives of the heroes as well as the action.
There's something oddly interesting to me about the personal lives of these
larger than life characters. I couldn't really tell you why, it's just what I
find interesting. Their struggles, their loves, their hopes, their dreams,
everything. I'm also pro-sexuality in media, I think we shouldn't be afraid to
talk or display sexual themes. It honestly bugs me a lot of the time how a fair
amount of people will freak out over a scene of a girl in their underwear or
something like that. However, I'm not a fan of distracting from the plot so I
don't include fanservice in serious scenes really. Then again I wouldn't include
things like comedy in relatively serious scenes either.




I'm also a major animation buff, I know about animation from all over the world,
name a country, I can tell about animated films or shows from there, doesn't
matter where. I can't help it, I just love knowing the inner workings of the
medium, same with comic books.




I also have a twitch account, I tend to stream at random, late at night so just
check in around there if you wanna watch. I do making of streams for my comic,
Let's plays, podcasts and such. Come on by sometime!
