Showbiz Comedy - Rated PG13 - 106 Minutes - 2016



It's easy to say, "OK, so what?" as the credits roll for this Coen brothers
film, which ends more tidily than many of their other movies, but when
considered as a series of caricatures of Hollywood and the burgeoning red scare
as seen through the eyes of Josh Brolin's ambivalent studio fixer, there's
plenty to take from Hail, Caesar. Many of the Coen brothers' favorite actors pop
in for their requisite appearances, and after his engaging performance as a
dopey song and dance man with a big secret, hopefully Channing Tatum will
continue to join those ranks in the future.
