For a razor of this lightweight, it is quite efficient. It cuts through some of my trouble spots on my face without any issues. The main thing is to use a little sharper blade and a good gliding soap (or cream). I can get a good BBS shave with a few passes. Still one of my fav razors.I have bought the previous v1 of the standard razor (and returned it) and this v2 of the razor (which is the one available now) and I loved it. I had issues with earlier revision of the standard razor and had to return it. When standard razors send me an email about a v2 available, I decided to give it another try. I own a few other DE razors and this one has quickly became one of my favorites. It is not too aggressive (even with a feather blade) that I had to pay special attention to, but is still sharp enough to nick you if you're not careful.It is lighter than my other razors, but it glides nicely and effortlessly across my skin. I do have to make 1 or 2 more passes in some areas, but overall, this is a very much enjoyable razor that I use quite frequently. its forgiving enough for me to reach out to it when i'm still a bit sleepy in the morning.*NOTE* I bought the razor directly from standard razors website before they were available on amazon.
