Amerasians Looking for their American Fathers


WELCOME



I am Brian Hjort, the Director of Father Founded.  Since 1992, when I started my
work with Amerasians, together with my friend Hung, we basically tried to follow
the same direction and aim, to help Amerasians and veterans in locating each
other in the best way we can. It has been a rough way, sometimes with a lot of
walls to hit. Always we face people in a humble way and just hope that we can
make a difference, that hasn't changed since that time.  Father Founded is a
501(c)3 Non-Profit Charity.

Below are some Father Founded videos featuring the Amerasians from Vietnam and
the Philippines that this organization helps. The team utilizes DNA testing that
is free for the Amerasians, then a search angel/genetic genealogist is assigned
to their case in the hopes of using the DNA matches and family tree to contact
the birth father and/or his family.
