The Conference Board, Inc. is a not-for-profit entity under Section 501(c)(3) of
the IRS Code. The research and educational products described above are of equal
value to the membership fees.
Net Payable: Thirty (30) Calendar Days from receipt of an invoice. An invoice
for the Total fee identified above will be sent to Member and payment thereof
confirms this Order Form. Future invoicing will be sent on an Annual basis for
the items indicated above. Additionally, Membership will renew as per the Auto
Renewal term set-forth below.
Special Terms & Conditions: N/A
Membership Benefits and Terms. TCB is a not-for-profit, member-focused think
tank that provides trusted insights for what’s ahead.
This Order Form is subject to the following terms. TCB may amend this Order Form
by providing email notice to the Member. The Member’s continued use of TCB’s
services shall indicate agreement to such amendment(s). If the Member Company
identified above has executed any other Order Forms with TCB constituting an
Agreement, then this Order Form is hereby made a part of such Agreement. Absent
such Agreement, Member’s use of TCB’s materials is subject to the Terms of Use
(https://www.conference-board.org/contact/index.cfm?id=1985). TCB’s use of
personal information is subject to TCB’s Privacy Policy
(https://www.conference-board.org/Privacypolicy/) and TCB may contact you
regarding the above products and services, and any related matters. Member
participation on Councils is subject to the Chatham House Rule
(https://www.chathamhouse.org/chatham-house-rule).
Invoicing, Term, Auto-Renewal. The services in this Order Form will commence on
the Start Date indicated upon receipt of your invoice. Payments received later
than ten (10) business days after the due date may be subject to a 1.5%
late-payment penalty. Unless otherwise provided herein, this Order Form will
automatically renew on the first anniversary of the term set-forth above, and
then on each subsequent anniversary, for a renewal term of 12 months, unless
either party gives written notice of cancellation at least sixty (60) calendar
days prior to the anniversary date. TCB will advise Member ninety (90) days in
advance of the Order Form’s auto-renewal date, and of any change in fees.
Transfers, Termination. Member may not resell, assign or transfer any of their
rights conferred by this Order Form without TCB’s prior written consent. In the
event TCB terminates the Council(s) identified above prior to the end of the
Term, Member will be offered a seat(s) on another Council(s). The obligations
contained herein pertaining to termination, Chatham House Rule, and TCB’s Terms
of Use and Privacy Policy will survive any termination of this Order Form.
Governing Law and Venue: The terms of the Agreement shall apply. In the absence
of such Agreement:
For Members residing in the United States, Asia, and elsewhere: This Order Form
is governed by the laws of the State of New York (USA), and each party
irrevocably agrees that the courts of New York County will have exclusive
jurisdiction to deal with any disputes which cannot be resolved amicably.
For Members residing in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa: This Order Form is
governed by Belgian law, and each party irrevocably agrees that the courts of
Brussels, Belgium will have exclusive jurisdiction to deal with any disputes
which cannot be resolved amicably.
