2024 REALTOR® Membership Dues
Payment Due 01/01/24 | Late Fee 01/15/24 | Inactivation 01/30/24
REALTOR® Membership dues payment is due by January 1, 2024 and will be
considered late after January 15, 2024. Collection of member dues and
assessments requires members' annual authorization, therefore SAMCAR does NOT
store credit card information. Realtor members, please log-in to view and pay
your bill. A $95 late fee will be applied on Tuesday, January 16, 2024.
Membership will be inactivated if payment is not received by 5 PM (PT) on
Tuesday, January 30, 2024 (late fee applies).

REDWOOD CITY HOMEOWNER ALERT: Council Seeking New Tax for 2024 Ballot
ATTENTION REDWOOD CITY HOMEOWNERS: The Redwood City Council voted at their
Monday, November 27 meeting to direct staff to study two new taxes with the
intent of placing one of them on the November 2024 ballot. Staff will consider
changing the city's business license tax to a gross receipt model and imposing
the dreaded property transfer tax. The city seeks to raise between $5 million
and $16 million annually in new revenues from a new tax.

SAMCAR Foundation Grants $25,000 to Local Charities in Q4
On November 22, 2023 the SAMCAR Foundation Trustees approved Q4 grants to five
organizations -- $5,000 each to CORA, HEART, Rebuilding Together Peninsula,
LifeMoves, and Caminar -- for a total amount of $25,000, with funds donated by
SAMCAR members. Read more about the services each of these organizations
provides in San Mateo County and how their work aligns with the SAMCAR
Foundation's mission.
