Hosted by GoReact, this event is for anyone in higher ed (whether you’re an expert at using video assessment, or you’ve never tried it) looking for ways to empower confident skills for learners and streamline assessment for instructors. ReAction 2022 Mark your calendars for April 20–21. Sessions will be broadcast live for a half day on both days. Session topics and times will be announced at the beginning of April. ReAction 2022 is completely FREE for everyone. All you have to do is register, click to attend, and start learning about new (see also: more effective) tools and approaches for teaching any skill or competency. The agenda will feature a topical focus on improving self-reflection, competency-based education, communication, and student engagement with: Announcing Our Keynote Speakers Dr. Peter Felten Dr. Felten is executive director of the Center for Engaged Learning, assistant provost for teaching and learning, and professor of history at Elon University in North Carolina. He works with colleagues on institutionwide teaching and learning initiatives, and on the scholarship of teaching and learning. His keynote will focus on: relational feedback as a flexible, scalable, equitable, and humane approach to support learning, belonging, and achievement. Dr. Brownlee serves as the sixth president of Colorado’s Community College of Aurora. As one of the youngest college presidents in the U.S., he represents the next generation of civic and community leaders. His keynote will explore: how the academy can rebound from the pandemic by promoting new ideas, new technologies, and new systems to increase institutional relevance and accessibility, and to realize the full potential of their institutional missions and visions.
