The Bridges Academy lays the foundation for a lifetime of learning. Our
nurturing faculty focus on the individual student and how best to ignite a love
of learning. We offer an enriched and academically rigorous program that engages
our students to think critically, be creative, and work together to learn and
grow. We value our diverse community and strive to prepare our students to
compete and thrive in this interdependent world with character, confidence, and

OUR PROGRAMS


CHANGING HOW WE LEARN



Learning goes beyond the standard curriculum; it is about helping our students
become authentic learners who discover their unique talents and passions. Our
students not only develop a strong foundation in the fundamental skills of
reading, writing, and math, which sets the course for academic success, but
through our enriched program they explore a wide variety of subjects to gain
broader knowledge and to discover their unique interests.

The Early Childhood Program nurtures the development of a strong sense of
self-discipline, motivation, empathy and a love of learning. 

 

Serving children from 3 to 5 years old, the Early Childhood Program centers
around our youngest students, helping them transition into school with a fun and
interactive program.

In our Lower School programs, the curriculum is focused on hands-on, open-ended
activities that develop children’s curiosity and problem-solving skills.
Instruction is carefully sequenced to encourage skill consolidation and
cross-curricular connections.



Throughout the program, students reflect upon and explain their thought
processes and gain confidence in oral and written expression.    

Through an engaging, stimulating, and challenging curriculum that accelerates
intellectual, physical, and social growth, the Middle School (grades 5–8) builds
upon the solid foundation begun in the Lower School.



Our students are accepted into the most desired day and boarding secondary
schools and ultimately into the finest colleges and universities.

Bridges opened in September, 2013 as a fully independent, federally recognized
not-for-profit, offering Preschool through 8th grade,  an “all-through” school
with no need to change schools at various grade points.
