Azar Naghiyev is an international lawyer, expert, and writer. His academic and
professional credentials include a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from Illinois
Institute of Technology Chicago-Kent School of Law, a Bachelor of Law degree,
and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from Baku State University in Azerbaijan.
Throughout his professional career, he has participated in many trainings,
conferences, and seminars, such as the Training for Trainers program funded by
the European Union and the Council of Europe for lawyers, prosecutors, and
judges. He is one of the 61 Certified Tutors on the Council of Europe HELP
online platform. He has also led training courses for lawyers and members of the
Azerbaijan Bar Association.
