The country is divided into 18 provinces. The northernmost province, Cabinda, constitutes an enclave separated from the rest of the country by the Democratic Republic of Congo. The main urban centers, besides the country’s capital, Luanda, are the cities of Lubango, Benguela, Huambo, Cabinda, Lobito, Namibe, Malanje and Soyo.
