Sibo Cheng received the Ph.D. degree from Universite Paris-Saclay, France, in
2020. He is currently a Research Associate at the Data Science Institute,
Department of Computing of Imperial College London. His research mainly focuses
on physics-related machine learning, data assimilation and reduced order
modelling for high-dimensional dynamical systems with a wide range of
applications including wildfire prediction, computational fluid dynamics,
microfluidic drop modelling and medical AI.

Michail Kalogiannakis is an Associate Professor of the Department of Special

the University Paris 7-Denis Diderot (D.E.A. in Didactic of Physics), University
Paris 5-René Descartes-Sorbonne (D.E.A. in Science Education) and received his
Ph.D degree at the University Paris 5-René Descartes-Sorbonne (PhD in Science
Education). His research interests include: science education, STEM Education,
mobile learning for science education, distant learning and science education,
computational thinking and experiments and simulation for science education. He
has published over 150 articles in international conferences and journals, and
has served on the program committees of numerous international conferences.

Kharazmi University, Tehran, He is currently a visiting researcher at the

France. His main interests concern quantum field theory in de Sitter space and,
more generally, in a curved space-time, quantum gravity, and quantum geometry.

astrophysics, He’s researches involve neutron stars (pulsars), the supernova
explosion mechanism and the thermonuclear reaction inside the star, the
synthesis of heavy elements and interstellar radioactive element such as the
origin of celestial 26Al. 225 papers of him have be published.

Hans Deyssenroth was born in 1937 and studied electrical engineering at the TH
Karlsruhe in Germany and physics with a Diploma degree at the University of
Basel in Switzerland. He worked as an IT-manager und biometrician in the Pharma
industry in Switzerland and was the co-author of about 20 publications. After
retirement he studied again the basics of physics and got more and more doubts
that the existing models are correct, though they have been verified by many and
varied experiments.

Jack Martin has been a keen amateur astronomer for over 50 years, and active in
Spectroscopy since 1997. He studied Astronomy and Planetary Science at The Open
University (2010). He co-authored ‘Practical Amateur Spectroscopy’ (2004), and
is author of ‘A Spectroscopic Atlas of Bright Stars 2009’ for Springer. Also, he
has written articles for the BAA Journal, Astronomy Now, The Webb Deep-Sky
Society, and The Society for Popular Astronomy. Jack has run the Huggins
Spectroscopic Observatory UK since 2013. He also undertakes long-term
international collaboration studies with a group of Small Telescope Scientists,
monitoring h alpha and other lines of Be- Flare-Nova-Symbiotic etc. stars using
a Shelyak Lhires III spectrograph.

I, Mattias Eriksson is working as Senior Lecturer in mathematics and physics at
Blekinge Institute of Technology. I graduated as PhD in atomic physics in Lund
University in 2006. After working in first Baltimore and then Jönköping I became
a Senior Lecturer in Blekinge Institute of Technology 2010, where I am is still
working. My main fields have been atomic physics, astrophysics, and mathematics.
A topic which interested me through the years have been fluorescence in plasma.
During the years I have reported fluorescence from various sources, such as
symbiotic stars and active galactic nebulae. One of my projects right now is how
fluorescence lines can help us better understand the H Ly alpha line in K-
stars.

I am a scientist and educator. My research concerns principally fundamental
quantum physics - quarks and leptons and standard model interactions, dark
matter, and the structure of the physical universe. I have been Principle
Investigator in international collaborative efforts using cutting edge
technologies. I designed, constructed, commissioned, and operated a major muon
detector subsystem of the Collider Detector Facility (CDF) at Fermi National
Laboratory (FNAL), known for the discovery of the top quark. I was involved in
the commissioning and operation of a laser alignment system and in upgrade
construction for the Cathode Strip Chamber (CSC) Endcap Muon subsystem of the
Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) detector at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN,
known for the discovery of the Higgs boson. I am a member of the LUX-Zeplin (LZ)
collaboration launching a direct search for weakly interacting massive particles
(WIMPs) thought to constitute the dark matter in the universe. Other scientific
interests include biology, biophysics and biotechnology, geophysics, muography
and archaeology, and energy and sustainability technologies. I am a passionate
educator involved with governance, infrastructure, recruitment,
teaching/mentoring/training, and assessment and the University of
Wisconsin-Madison. I am active in undergraduate innovation and entrepreneurship
programming, educational innovation, and educational technology. Recent projects
include creating and directing an open lab (Garage Physics) for student
innovation and entrepreneurship, directing production of educational objects for
mobile deployment (Flexible Physics Mobile), and piloting project-based learning
promoting sustainability education (Wisconsin Make Sustain). Other educational
initiatives/interests include use of social bookmarking, cloud LaTeX,
collaborative learning spaces, inexpensive lecture capture, low cost captioning,
audience response systems, and 3d-printing.

Dr Alvarez obtained MsC and PhD degrees from University of California at
Berkeley in 1970 and 1972, respectively. He has spent 48 years at the National
Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) as a Professor and Researcher at the
Institute of Applied Mathematics (IIMAS) and the Institute of Geophysics. In the
1989-1977 period he was director of the Institute of Geography. Between
1975-1977 he was Principal Investigator in NASA’s Lunar Sample Program. He has
done research in electrical properties of rocks, Tectonics, and volcanic
structures.

I was born in Coronado, California in 1944. I am the first woman to receive a
degree in physics from the University of California, Davis. I received a
master’s degree in nuclear physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. I
worked in various scientific fields and taught high school physics and
university astronomy. At age 42 I returned to graduate school at Georgia State
University to obtain my PhD in astrophysics. At Los Alamos National Laboratory I
worked with x-ray satellites. At NASA/Marshall Space Center I worked with the
Compton Gamma Ray Observatory. At NASA Headquarters I managed several operating
NASA astrophysics satellites and mission programs. At NSF I was the Program
Officer for Extragalactic Astronomy and Cosmology and Executive Secretary for
Gemini and ALMA. At USNO I was Chief of the Nautical Almanac Office. I produced
the Astronomical Almanac and Nautical Almanac. Now retired I specialize in the
history of women in science.

Russia and also listed as one of the Most Outstanding Scientists of the Planet

Professor Ibrahima Sakho is a teacher-researcher and writer at Iba Der Thiam
University in Thiès, Senegal. Its research activities mainly focus on the study
of resonant photoionization of atomic systems with several electrons dedicated
to the analysis of the spectra of astrophysical and laboratory plasmas. Former
student-teacher at the Ecole Normale Supérieure of Dakar (1996), he holds a
Certificate of Aptitude for Secondary Education (CAES, 1997), a Diploma of
Advanced Studies (DEA, 1997) in Physical Chemistry Applied to Energy, a
Doctorate thesis in atomic and nuclear physics (2007) and a State Doctorate
thesis in atomic and nuclear physics (2013) at the Cheikh Anta Diop University
of Dakar in Senegal. He presented in his PhD thesis (2013) the first
semi-empirical method of photoionisation named Screening constant per unit
nuclear charge (SCUNC). He capitalized to date 78 publications in international
journals, notably in the journals of the major publishers IOP Sciences,
Springer, MDPI, and Elsevier, and has published around twenty books in physics
and chemistry at Nouvelles Editions Africaines du Sénégal (NEAS) in Dakar, in
the Editions Publibook, Hermann and Ellipses in Paris, Editions ISTE in London
and Editions Wiley & Son in the USA between 2010 and 2024.
