BIO


ABOUT

K.Melodi is a Pittsburgh, PA-based artist whose sound is a unique blend of RnB
and Neo Soul. Known for her soothing tone and powerful relatable lyrics,
K.Melodi's music has been described as relaxing and chill vibes, making it a
perfect addition to any favorite playlist. Currently, she is working on a music
project called "In Control," where she shares her perception of growth and
lessons learned through choices made and accepting things as they are, moving
accordingly. Additionally, she is gearing up to release a new single called
"D.O.D (Distance Over Disrespect)," which, as the title suggests, explores the
theme of maintaining respect in relationships.

K.Melodi's journey into music began with her mom introducing her to India Arie's
music. She became obsessed with the guitar and singing. Instead of following a
traditional path, K.Melodi chose to work her way to obtain the knowledge,
network, and resources to achieve her dreams. On her own healing and
self-discovery journey, she decided to share her modalities and gems through her
holistic healing business and music. She has honed her craft by being a member
of Writing Sessions America (WSA), founded by her mentor Kevin Shine, and
participating in a series of songwriting and entrepreneurial workshops for two
years.

Notable highlights of K.Melodi's career include winning 1st place at the
Industry Ready Artist Showcase in December 2017, releasing her first EP called
"Shadow Work" in November 2020, being part of the "Back to School Tour" and
performing in Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, and Atlanta in August 2021.
She became a family member of Writing Sessions America (WSA) in October 2021,
performed at a Botanical Garden Extravaganza in March 2022, and attended
workshops and panels at the annual Music Conference hosted by Kevin Shine in
Nashville, TN, in November 2022, where her song was selected as a top 25 pick
out of 50 for performance. K.Melodi had the opportunity to perform at a wedding
in April 2023 and at Braddock's first annual Mental Health Fair in June 2023.
She also performed at the Annual Summer Jam fest in Monroeville in July 2023.

Looking ahead, K.Melodi has exciting projects and performances on the horizon.
She will be performing at the Mt. Oliver Pride Festival on June 15th, 2024, and
is planning to host a Silent Listening Party for her birthday in July 2024. Stay
