NEW WEBINAR - BRIDGING THE DIVIDE: CONFLICT RESOLUTION IN PUBLIC FINANCE

GFOA partnered with the Constructive Dialogue Institute (CDI) to offer members
the opportunity to participate in an online program called Perspectives that
helps teams communicate more effectively across differences to create the best
ideas to develop more effective public finance solutions. In this session, April
27, you will hear from members of Knox County, Tennessee, about their experience
in the Perspectives program to improve conflict resolution in their organization
and how other local governments can get involved.

LET'S TALK RISK...

Public finance is subject to a great deal of uncertainty, such as future
recessions, changes in interest rates, forecast inaccuracy, and much more.
Uncertainty is a source of risk. The gold standard for analyzing and managing
risk is computer simulation. That’s how insurance companies design and price
policies, for example. Technological advances have made computer simulation more
accessible than ever before and GFOA has been on the cutting edge of applying
these advances to public finance.
