As a (Senior) Backend Developer (m/f/x) your main tasks will include: * Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Ruby on Rails. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers and product managers, to implement new features and enhance existing functionalities. * Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of backend applications. * Contribute to the overall architecture and design decisions for backend systems. * Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices. * Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy and maintain backend services. * Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our backend infrastructure. What we look for: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. * Proven experience as a Backend Developer with a focus on Ruby on Rails. * Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices. * Proficiency in database design and management (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL). * Experience with RESTful API development and integration. * Solid understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git). * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Effective communication and collaboration skills.
