Previous Next <div>Home Page Carousel</div> 14TH ANNUAL OSTEM CONFERENCE We are very excited to announce our 14th Annual Conference in Portland, Oregon from October 17-20, 2024! The conference is a space designed for attendees to share their professional and personal experiences and learn from one another in an authentic and vulnerable way. Programs and content range from introspective (e.g., safer spaces to talk about queer issues and career development) to technical (e.g., discussing the latest in research conducted by our members). The Career & Graduate School Expo allows attendees to connect and network with professionals, academics, and colleagues from STEM industries and universities. Visit Conference Info Page If you have any questions, please email conference@ostem.org. <div>Main Announcement</div> 2023 Conference Photos PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SUMMIT oSTEM's Professional Development Summit is an intimate career retreat weekend, aimed to empower early career LGBTQ+ professionals in STEM through introspective workshops, authentic mentorship, and supportive community. Attendees will have the opportunity to clarify their career goals, define their vision of success, and extend their networks of peers and mentors graciously provided by our Organizational Advisory Council. Thank you to our 2023 cohort, we hope you all had a great time. ANNUAL CONFERENCE We look forward to seeing our community and members in Portland, OR in October 2024. Check out our conference page for more information! GRADUATE SCHOOL APPLICATION ASSISTANCE Our 2023 to 2024 cycle for Graduate School Application Assistance is now open! This program helps scholars navigate the graduate admissions progress by providing financial and mentoring support. The Graduate Applications Financial Aid Program will provide up to $1000 per individual to cover application or test fees for LGBTQ+ people applying to STEM graduate programs. Applicants from all countries are welcomed.
