Learn More Search Menu DISCIPLESHIP SCHOOL Practicing the ways of Jesus for lifelong, radical transformation For the past 30 years, we’ve served thousands of students and have found the school to be catalytic in establishing Kingdom values and in empowering people to live fully fruitful lives for Jesus, no matter their stage of life. Antioch Discipleship School is for every follower of Jesus desiring to grow in their understanding of Scripture, who God is and His mission for His people. Our goal is that you would learn and be challenged to live a fruitful life with Jesus through our various activities, teachings and speakers. For the 2024 – 2025 school year, we are facilitating both a Day School and Night School. Interest Form DAY SCHOOL Designed for 18–30-year-olds who are currently not working full-time. God is inviting a generation to “stand in the gap” with Him—to know His heart and partner with Him as He brings the Kingdom of heaven to earth. Our Day School is an immersive, 5-month training where young people together will be equipped and envisioned to live life in step with Jesus, grow deeper in relationship with God and be activated for the Great Commission. Applications close July 7, 2024. NIGHT SCHOOL Designed for adults of all ages who have full-time jobs or obligations. Night School has operated for years with one goal in mind: to train up Great Commandment (Matthew 22:36-40) and Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) disciples of Jesus — men and women who wholeheartedly love God and submit their lives to His leadership and purpose. We are a 9-month course that meets two evenings a week. We desire to go deeper in our calling and relationship with God through Scripture memory, powerful worship encounters and intentional community. Applications close July 31, 2024. APPLY FOR DAY SCHOOL APPLY FOR NIGHT SCHOOL LEARN TO LIVE LIKE JESUS. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS DAY SCHOOL Is the Day School the right fit for me? Expand The Day School is designed for 18–30-year-olds (without children) who are able to be immersed in a full-time, intensive learning environment. Flexibility is a necessity when it comes to school hours, moving around Waco to share the gospel, praying at times through the night and participating in a two-month outreach overseas. It also helps if the student has very few financial responsibilities during this school term. Outside employment is allowed, but schedules must work around the full-time school schedule. What are the dates for the Day School? Expand The school typically runs August – December. * In Waco: August – November. * Overseas Outreach: November – December. What will the weekly schedule be? Expand The school will meet 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday. Hourly schedules vary by weekday. Some Sunday requirements may occur. I have scheduling conflicts. Can I start late or end early? Expand Students will be required to attend all 5 months of the school. Starting late or ending early is not permitted. What is the cost? Expand Cost is broken down into three categories: * Tuition: $1,500 (not tax-deductible) * Outreach: ~$5,000 (tax-deductible, fundraising allowed) * Living Expenses: $3,000-$4,500 while in Waco for 3 months — varies widely depending on housing; living expenses are not paid to Antioch Is support-raising allowed? Expand Support-raising for the overseas outreach is permitted. Tuition and living expenses should be personally paid. Friends and family may contribute to your tuition (paid to the church), but tuition donations will not be tax-deductible to the donor. When are fees due? Expand Tuition is due prior to the start of the school. Fundraising for the outreach will begin once the school term starts. Will Antioch provide housing? Expand No, students will need to find their own housing. Can I work while enrolled in the Day School? Expand Full-time jobs will not be possible while in the Day School. Some side jobs or part-time jobs may be possible as long as they do not interfere with the school schedule. NIGHT SCHOOL Is the Night School the right fit for me? Expand The Night School is ideal for adults of any age who are committed to full-time jobs and obligations. What are the dates for the Night School? Expand Regular Class Schedule: August 23 – May 19 What will the weekly schedule be? Expand The school meets from 6–10 p.m. every Monday and the 3rd Thursday of every month. I have scheduling conflicts. Can I start late or end early? Expand We encourage every student to attend all Night School classes and events. We also understand that conflicts may arise. Please speak with Night School staff on a case-by-case basis. What is the cost? Expand Tuition is $1,800. The end-of-year outreach cost is in addition to tuition and varies based on trip-length and location. Is support-raising allowed? Expand Support-raising for the overseas outreach is permitted. Tuition should be personally paid. Friends and family may contribute to your tuition (paid to the church), but tuition donations will not be tax-deductible to the donor. When are fees due? Expand Kids Ministry will be available at the church for Thursday evening classes only (which occur on the 3rd Thursday of every month). Will Antioch provide housing?
