Since its founding in 2003, German Performance Options has quickly become
Nashville’s favorite European performance shop.

At German Performance Options (GPO), we are committed to maintaining the highest

automotive repair shop located just outside downtown Nashville, TN. We provide
repair and maintenance services for all major European brands including Audi,

Our team consists of several certified technicians, including factory
certifications, ASE certifications, and technical school training. We’re proud
to have Audi master technicians and even one of the few Audi R8 certified

Eurofix tried to tell me I needed replacement of my turbo coolant line & water
pump. GPO disagreed, saying coolant line only. I’ve been driving 1.5 months with
no further issues after letting GPO fix it. If I had stayed at Eurofix and took
their word for it, it would have cost me an extra $900 dollars roughly
(comparison quotes attached - GPO on right).Lastly, the reason I didn’t give 5
stars is because everything in my glove box was strewn all over my passenger
floor when I received my car back…I don’t know what this was. Private health
information was exposed - although I’m sure nobody cares - but it made me
uncomfortable nonetheless. In addition, there was a bottle cap left underneath
my hood. In all fairness, I can’t say how long it had been there. I couldn’t
positively attribute it to the most recent problem. It could’ve just as well
been Eurofix that dropped it while they were flushing the lines. Who knows.
Anyhow, will likely return to GOP as the experience was good overall.Thanks for
the patch up

Went in for a coilover kit install and they did it perfectly. Ended up getting
the wrong kit due to shipping error at first but they got on it and got the

Excellent Service!!! Today was my first experience at GPO. I’m a car enthusiast.
I’m a driver. Porsche Macan Turbo is my daily ride. GPO was able to squeeze me
in for a last minute oil change today - this is unheard of (unless you own a
Honda and go to… Jiffy Lube).😖Savannah was exceptional!!! Best damn customer
service I’ve had in a very long time!!! Give her a raise!!! 😁GPO is now my

squeezed me in, assessed all that needed to be done, gave me a price, and got
the work done. This is the second time they've worked on my car. They are great.

Cannot recommend this shop enough. They are fair and provide you with options,
costs, and timelines for service needs. If there is an issue that occurs
post-service, they look into it and correct it. An example of this is when I got
the battery system for my BMW replaced, but after the service I still had an
indicator for the battery. They diagnosed, checked, and corrected it in no time.
Since the issue was a faulty replacement battery, they got a new one in for
free. I have continued taking both vehicles here ever since.

get my worked on and they’ve always take care of me and are very honest. From
oil changes to timing chains, staging my A5, advice on what I should do etc.

Took my car in for an oil change and general inspection as it was getting up
there in miles. They told me it would be half the cars value in repairs within
the next 6 months. I offered to pay to have it all done then, as I can't be
without a car. They instead explained to me that that wasn't in my best interest
and recommended I sell the car due to the known transmission life
expectancy.That means they turned down a large amount of money in order to make
sure I made the right financial decision. They also did not charge me for the
inspection where they found these issues - which was going to be about as much
as the oil change.I'll be a lifelong customer.

Still providing great service 4 years after my first review.What an awesome
experience! Here are some main points:Honest-You don't have to guess, "Is this
work really necessary?"Price-I have found them to be about 20% less than the
competition.Customer 1st-Willing to make suggestions/provide
alternatives.Suggestions:Do give them ample time to work on your car, this isn't
a 30 minute oil change place, they take time with each customer to educate and
explain how things work. The only thing missing from their waiting room is a
massage chair, plenty of refreshments too. If you dread taking your car in
because of a hefty bill let GPO guide you through the options, what is needed
now, what can wait and so on.

GPO is simply the best. I had some shaking on my Audi A4 and had no clue what it
was. They checked it out, saw what it was and got it right the first time.
Getting the job right the first time is key. They don't do any 'We'll try this
and if it doesn't work we'll try that.' That's because they're very
knowledgeable and have extensive experience. For you Audi owners, they're Audi
certified. The quality of work at GPO is better than the dealer and at a cheaper
price. I'd recommend GPO to anyone in need of repair or tuning, especially if
you have a German car.

I had to get my wheels and tires swapped out at last minute. Even though GPO was
busy at the time, they were able to take my car and return it within a couple of
hours. On top of that everyone there was super friendly and courteous. I

I let very few people work on my car, and after my experience at GPO, they are
definitely added to the collection. Clean and professional shop. Courteous and
knowledgeable staff. My car was well taken care of in an efficient and thorough
manner. One of my wheels is damaged and they were able to get it balanced better
than any other shop and I could not be more satisfied. My 2013 WRX is both a
daily and my once a month rally car. I am looking forward to an alignment check
and working with them to fix whatever I throw out of adjustment or break while
tossing her around at the track.

I had such a great experience. I have a 70's Super Beetle that needed some work
done. When I found out that Nick was an air cooled mechanic I knew I found the
right shop. He did excellent work, took his time, and made my bug run so well. I
will definitely recommend them! Their pricing is fair and shop is clean. I have

Shawn and crew were wonderful to work with. I had quite a few things done being
my first time and buying a used car, and I believed the price was reasonable and
extremely happy with the service. More importantly though was the customer
interaction. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and you could tell they car about
their cars and their work. As a non-car guy it’s so important to trust your
mechanic because I just have no knowledge and would have to go along with
whatever they said, but you can tell immediately this group is trustworthy and
want to do what’s right and best by you. They explained some options I had
moving forward with tune ups and I will absolutely be back!

When my car broke down I was very apprehensive about where to take it. After
looking at the reviews of German Performance Options I decided to take it there.
They did not disappoint. Cody was amazing and never to busy to answer any of my
questions. He talked me through all my options and if I didn't understand
something, he talked me through it until I did. I never felt pressured to buy
something or to replace something that I didn't need and that was important to
me. I was also surprised at how fast they were able to get me in and get my car

AMAZING SERVICE AND AMAZING STAFF!I recently purchased a 33 year old Porsche
944. Unsure of when the timing belt was last replaced, I knew I’d need to bring
the car in for service. Brian, Cody, and the rest of the staff there were very
professional and courteous. Jay did a superb job diagnosing and doing the
necessary repairs (I knew he had come from Music City P&A, so he had the
expertise my vintage car required). I’ll definitely be bringing my car there for
all future maintenance. I unreservedly recommend German Performance Options to

I had GPO create and install a custom Stage 3 upgrade for my 2013 S8. Corey and
the rest of the GPO team involved did an amazing job and I can't recommend them
highly enough. My car is now substantially faster and more reliable thanks to

If the local shop can't fix it I will drive an hour to take my car to GPO.
Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff. Excellent level of service, and at
a great price compared to dealerships. I took my Audi in suspecting a bad
controller and it turned out to be a broken wire. Their knowledge and honesty
saved me hundreds of dollars. I have been there twice so far and I honestly
don't think I have ever had a better experience with an automotive shop.

My Only Volkswagen Shop Period.I have worked with German Performance Options for
3 years now, and They are they only Shop I will let touch My 2 VW CC'sThey have
fixed the Timing Chains in Both cars, Oil Changes and all general repairsBut Who
they Are... The Day before Thanksgiving 2018 I an driving back from Brentwood
and my check Engine light comes on at 70 mph . I immediately call GPO tell them
I am headed straight there.. They agreed to stay open till I arrived to check
the car out. It was a shattered Ignition Coil they Replaced that 1 coils in 3
minutes got me back on road safely. Thank God... then Melissa told me Doug the
Owner stayed till I arrived to look at my car - He was walking out the door when
I called to drive 12 hours to Thanksgiving with family,,, HE CHOSE TO STAY on
THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY to make sure I was safe... NO ONE ELSE WOULD HAVE DONE THAT
Period.They are my VW shop and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an
honest relationship with a repair shop. THANKS AGAIN DOUG, COREY and entire GPO

Great experience here. Lots of stuff going wrong with my close to 10 year old
Mini Countryman, took it to Firestone, and they kind of just scratched their
heads at it after running diagnostics for 2 days. GPO knew exactly what was
going on and got it purring like a cat in no time. I couldn't coordinate in
person until pickup, and they were super accommodating via
phone/drop-off.Couldn't recommend them more!

Over the past seven years, I have had lots of maintenance and
performance-related work done on my cars at GPO. It has always been a good
experience. They are highly-skilled, knowledgeable about current products and
technologies, and most importantly, they are honest and do excellent work. They
never push me to buy products or services, but inform me of the options in an
impartial manner. In one case a well-known aftermarket manufacturer made a
design error in a suspension component. It would physically fit, but would not
have been safe. Rather than hurredly bolt it in place to finish the job, the GPO
technician carefully evaluated the mechanical clearance issue, realized the
problem and called me. It’s possible his careful approach prevented a road
accident.

FINDING THE RIGHT EUROPEAN AUTO REPAIR SHOP

GPO tuning is the most easily accessible european car repair shop in Nashville.
It’s right by Lebanon Pike, just near a goodyear commercial tire & service
centers. It is in close proximity to the city side flats and the sycamore
terrace retirement community. GPO tuning is also conveniently located just 7.5
miles from Nashville international airport – that’s just 11 minutes away with
fair traffic conditions

From downtown Nashville you can reach GPO tuning by getting on on the I-40, Head

left turn onto 14th Ave N and Use the left lane to merge onto I-40 E/I-65 Svia
the ramp to Knoxville/Huntsville. From there,follow I-40 E to Rundle Ave. Take
exit 212 from I-40 E.  Then, you merge onto I-40 E/I-65 S, Remember to keep left
at the fork to continue on I-40 E, follow signs for I-24 E/Knoxville/Chattanooga
after that Keep right to stay on I-40 E. You can then take the exit 212 toward
Fesslers Ln then use the left lane to keep left at the fork and merge onto
Rundle Ave then Turn left onto Fesslers Ln, keep going straight then Turn right
onto Lebanon Pike. keep going past Calvary cemetery, and you can find GPO tuning
to your right – between AES services and Link automotive services and parts.
