Rules


 1.  1.Online competition is open to all individuals.
 2.  2.Each participant can submit max upto 2 entries.
 3.  3.The submissions, in its entirety, must be a single work of original
     material taken by the individual.  
 4.  4.The Submission must not contain obscene, provocative, defamatory,
     sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate content.
     5.Images taken in mobile phones is allowed.
 5.  6.Submissions must be in digital format. Only online entries will be
     eligible. No print or film submissions will be accepted for entry into this
     Contest.
 6.  7.All digital files must be must be in JPEG or .jpg format, and must be at
     least 2,700 pixels wide (if a horizontal image) or 2,700 pixels tall (if a
     vertical image). (2700x1800) or ( 6x9 inches )
 7.  8.Basic editing, including colour enhancement, the use of filters, and
     cropping of the Photo(s) is acceptable, provided any such editing does not
     affect the authenticity and/or genuineness of the photos.
 8.  9.All submitted photos must contain the original EXIF metadata information.
 9.  10.No watermarks, borders, logos, copyright marks, identifying marks, or
     any other visible references.
 10. 11.Copyrights of the image will be solely that of the participant. Insight
     Camera Club shall not use the image for promotions or any other means.

THE JUDGING

 1. 1.Insight Camera Club will appoint a judge / judges for each contest. This
    will comprise of members of the executive committee and / or external
    judges.
 2. 2.The judging panel shall assess and determine the winning Photos. The
    results and the winners will be announced on the website and social media.
 3. 3.The decision of Insight Camera Club’s judging panel will be final and
    binding on all Participants in respect to all matters relating to the
    Contest.
 4. 4.Insight Camera Club reserves the right to call for original JPEG or RAW
    files with unchanged EXIF for the purpose of authentication. An image maybe
    disregarded if this information cannot be provided.

RAGHU RAI

Raghu Rai For Photographers in Kerala | Sharing a venue on August 16 at Hotel
Crowne Plaza. Lovers of photography try to take advantage of this prestigious
opportunity we get.
Organizers are Insight Camera Club, Kochi.
Raghu Rai (born 1942) is an Indian photographer and photojournalist. He based
his work life on the news and pictures from his own country.
Rai started working as a photographer from 1965. A year later, Rai was working
at The Statesman, a New Delhi publication
Entered In 1976 at the press office
Left the service and became a freelance photographer. From 1982 to 1992, he
served as India Today's Editor of Photography. He has been appointed as a Jury
of Word Press Photo Contest three times.
Received Padma Shri in 1971. In the same year, a visual series on wildlife
management in India appeared as the cover story of National Geographic. Ra's
photo series has appeared in leading magazines such as Time, Life, Geo, New York
Times and Newsweek. In 1971, world-renowned photographer Henty Carter Brazen
nominated him to Magnum Photos, an international association of photographers.

REMEMBRANCE OF JOHN PAUL

Paying our respects to the Legend of Malayalam movie Shri John Paul Sir with
veteran lyricist and screenwriter, Shri Shibu Chakravarthy. Shri John Paul
gifted Malayalam cinema a glorious era through screenplays noted for their
artistic merit. He carved out a new style noted for the portrayal of
down-to-earth stories. He simply amazed viewers with next-door characters and
native life. His uniqueness was perhaps the ability to frame characters that
changed the careers of artists. Along with a National award in hand he is a
receipant of many other awards.




MIRRORLESS REVOLUTION

Last year, during a panel discussion at one of the yearly industry conferences,
I said that my hope was for DSLRs to soon vanish� I said this not because I
haven�t enjoyed the incredible strides made in photo technology during the era
of the DSLR � both as a camera store owner and a recreational photographer � but

A DAY WITH ARJUN KAMATH

Arjun Kamath is a photographer,film maker,and storyteller based in Bengaluru.In
the last decade,his work has been published by the world's leading media giants
like Huffington Post,BuzzFeed,and Vogue,along with the National Geographic and
the United Nations. Hailing with a degree in IT ,he went on to pursue his
passion by studying filmmaking and visual storytelling in the world's best film
school,the USC School of Cinemas Arts in L.A. A Canon EOS Maestro,Kamath is
known for his pictorial stories that often break the internet along with his
gripping portraits.He also takes a deep interest in fashion,street,and travel
photography;his pictures reflecting an unusual and enchanting stir of
stories,colours,and emotions.

this movement, the camera also joined with paintbrush and chisel evoking the
aesthetic values. Pictorial style of photography brings emotional intent among
the viewers with the dark setting and connects to the world of art in a
different way. The contest was a quest for the most eligible photograph which
reaches the zenith of artistic beauty.

photography skills. Curtailing daily life into the size of a frame is not easy.
Our photography competition was a symposium of daily life in which participants
were success in reflecting various elements of day-to-day life. Each photograph
portrayed different stories about chaotic and beautiful life and with strong
spectacles, those photographs accomplished complete meaning. The competition
also helped the participants coalesced there to add extra pages in the
portfolio. Choosing the best among the repertoire of photographs was hard. We
found Sreedharan Vadakkancheris photo conveying the whole elements of a daily
life. The entrant recognized that the kitchen contains the comprehensiveness of
an everyday life.




NEXT GENERATION LEADERSHIP

Are you a passionate wedding photographer? Have you ever thought about the
business aspects of wedding photography? If no, participate in our upcoming
event ‘next generation leadership’. Hosting by four leading wedding
photographers in Kerala, this seminar would analyze what are the business
opportunities put forwarded by photography. Rather than an art form, photography
also presents some commercial benefits. On 22nd May at The Renai Hotel
Palarivattom, the conference will encompass sessions including discussing
wedding business tips and all the basics of wedding photography. Interacting
with the panel also arranged to share and learn things from the icon
photographers.

accomplished complete meaning. The competition also helped the participants

PICTORIAL

the framework and immerse to the depth of emotions. Pictorial photography
creates an emotional realm on the viewers. It completes the art of photography
with the modicum of aesthetic elements. With this movement, the camera also
joined with paintbrush and chisel evoking the aesthetic values. Pictorial style
of photography brings emotional intent among the viewers with the dark setting
and connects to the world of art in a different way. The contest was a quest for
the most eligible photograph which reaches the zenith of artistic beauty.
