Thanks @rowerodzinka for the tag! Kolejne dni trasy przynoszą nowe przemyślenia.
Mamy otwarte głowy... I serca 🩷 Chętnie poznamy nowe miejsca, historie i nowych
ludzi.

Bo właśnie o to w naszej podróży chodzi - o relacje 🙌 ...niespiesznie
przemierzamy kolejne kilometry, biwakujemy, piknikujemy - cieszymy się sobą i
naszą wyprawą.

Do tej pory mieliśmy niesamowite szczęście do gospodarzy, których poznaliśmy w
drodze.

Pozdrawiamy Wszystkich Przyjaciół z Mazur i Warmi! Wszyscy Ruinersi będą zawsze
mile widziani na Podlasiu 💛

A w szczególności pozdrawiamy:
- Olę i Marcina,
- Natalię i Łukasza,

- Pana Irka z Olecka,

- Właścicieli Domku "Baśkowa Dolina",

- Marlenę i Radka ze W SPAnialej Chatki,

oraz Kasię i Grzegorza z córeczką Jagodą, u których spędziliśmy miły czas w
Lidzbarku. To ciekawy nocleg, bo w ramach społeczności @warmshowers_org - z tej
opcji korzystaliśmy pierwszy raz, ponieważ dołączyliśmy do ciepłych-przyszniców
specjalnie z uwagi na planowaną trasę. W naszych rodzinnych stronach /na
Podlasiu/ nie ma zbyt wielu aktywnych użytkowników... Ale mamy nadzieję, że im
dalej na zachód, tym częściej będziemy spotykać się z rowerowymi podróżnikami 🚴
a i może "nasi" również przekonają się do takiego stylu podróżowania i
poznawania nowych ludzi.

@grzesiek_pociejewski - dziękujemy za oprowadzenie po mieście! Jesteś super
przewodnikiem!

Thanks @nabil_istan for the tag! When @muhammadchandramangunkarso gave me the
contact of @zulkarnainmarsoeki to stay In jember, I was far to except such an
incredible place. Not only I got delicious food, very comfortable room in the
trees and discovered a cool solar touring bike, but I also could speak to the
kids of the school @alkautsar_edc I stayed at. I also got the occasion to visit
@smknegeri3jember once again full of smiling and happy students with different
subjects

#love @kp1200 for the tag! I often receive emotions with attributes like
disbelief, astonished, and shocked after people learn that I am touring a
particular place or country on a bicycle.

I very rarely meet people who pop up with things like - Oh, even my dad loves
bike touring, I know friends who do that, damn, even I went touring in Spain and
it was one hell of a journey. Those are my kinda people and I feel instantly
connected with them.

Thanks to @warmshowers_org for making us meet fellow bike tourers on the way as
we travel and explore new places one pedal at a time. And thanks to all those
people who met me in my tours, you all are special because you make me feel
comfortable between so many people around. It isn't easy to be between people
when the mere sight of them overwhelms you.

Update from the weekend: after a lovely night at a @warmshowers_org host on
Thursday (thanks Beth!) I set off on Friday morning into the rain. It was
forecast to rain all day and it did! I headed into Bald Eagle State Forest and
straight onto a very long gravel climb. After some time I finally reached the
top and needed a comfort break. Rested my bike against a post by the side of the
road and made the mistake of looking down the embankment to see some garbage
sacks, one of which was ripped open and had half a ribcage sticking out of it.
😶 I didn't have signal but thankfully 911 still worked but it took 90 mins for
the police to get there and check it out and let me know it was deer bones, not
human. Now with mild hyperthermia from standing in the siling rain I carried on
my way... That night whilst the rest of you were watching the Northern Lights I
was getting rained on in Poe Valley State Park campground.
Saturday started OK, in that the rain stopped! Then I had to negotiate getting
across an interstate - no problem, there was a tunnel, but it turned out to be
gated and the gate was locked. Undeterred, I took all the bags off the bag and
chucked them all and myself and the bike over the gate. Only to find another
locked gate a mile and a half further on - this one about 12 feet tall. 😬 Back
I went and eventually found another route over the motorway, losing a few hours
and some of my sanity. Anyway, by now the sun was out so I was again enjoying
the gravel roads through the forest....but it was the lull before the storm, the
storm being torrential rain which hit around 4pm. Abandoning plans to camp, I
limped into the cheapest hotel I could find and spent the evening trying to dry
everything out with a hairdryer.
Sunday was my seventh day on the road and I woke up with a body that was saying
WTF! It was particularly pleased that the day started with a nice long gravel
climb, much of which was walked. However, the day got better - the afternoon
featured a nice section of rail trail and then I got to stay at a lovely
secluded campsite called the Hideaway (check it out if you're ever near Everett,
PA) where they even gave me wood

Thanks @sianl13 for the tag! My NYC-TN journey ended with a final act of
kindness from lovely @warmshowers_org hosts Sean and Jamie who welcomed me into
their home in Chattanooga. Huge thanks to them and their family, including the
two beautiful dogs Moose and Mabel, for giving me a lovely place to stay.

Paris - Athènes J10 : les montagnes russes 🎢
Je sens la journée d'hier dans les jambes et je ralentis fort le rythme : je
sais que les montagnes russes m'attendent (sans les loopings heureusement 🤣).

Je quitte mes hôtes et la caravane cosy sous une pluie fine pour emprunter une
très belle voie verte.

La suite, c'est une alternance de pentes montantes et descendantes, avec parfois
de très forts pourcentages, des pistes cyclables et des routes très passantes
notamment aux abords de Varèse que je fuis à toute vitesse, et différents points
de vue sur les grands lacs, tantôt de haut, tantôt juste à côté de mes roues.
J'ai mes premiers doutes pendant la journée : je commence à me préparer
psychologiquement à faire des sacrifices sur le parcours car j'ai l'impression
désagréable qu'il va me manquer une semaine pour arriver à bon port 🫤

Je fais escale à #Como puis rejoins mes hôtes pour la nuit à #Lecco. J'arrive à
la tombée du jour, crevée et avec le vent de face, mais la ville entourée de
montagne me donne déjà une très forte impression. Je crois reconnaître les
Dolomites au loin... (Apparemment ce sont plutôt les Alpes).

Je me couche après une super soirée de discussion avec mes hôtes
@smilingciclista sur @warmshowers_org, Alex et Mike qui m'offrent un lit pour la
nuit et un risotto à tomber ! 🥰🙏🏻

Thanks @jordanjemzz for the tag! Second and third day of riding a bicycle in the
Netherlands 🇳🇱 after staying with a very nice @warmshowers_org host. I
continued through Noord-Holland and into Fryslân, arriving in Leeuwarden to
visit @instajdog and his family. Lots of pleasant countryside, coastline and
small villages!

que utilizamos muuuuito durante nossa viagem, tivemos a oportunidade de hospedar
este simpático cicloaventureiro que saiu da Colômbia há um tempão e está agora
viajando pelo Brasil. Mais uma vez tivemos a oportunidade do gostinho de viajar
sem sair de casa. Conversamos bastante, trocamos boas histórias, dividimos
cervejinhas, informações e risadas. Teve picnic na natureza e um pouquinho da
vida noturna de Botucatu também.

Desejamos que o Brasil siga te encantando e sua passagem por aqui aumentou mais

Colombian cycle traveler (warmshowers)
Through the hospitality app for cycle travelers, @warmshowers_org, which we used
a lot during our trip, we had the opportunity to host this friendly cycle
adventurer who left Colombia a long time ago and is now traveling through
Brazil. Once again we had the opportunity to enjoy traveling without leaving
home. We talked a lot, exchanged good stories, shared beers, information and
laughs. There was a picnic in nature and a little bit of Botucatu's nightlife
too.

We hope that Brazil continues to enchant you and your visit here has increased
