withstand low to moderate skilled level of attackers (e.g. AVA_VAN2/3) throughout the life span of a typical non-critical IoT solution. The proposed architecture is based on RISC-V and supports both post-quantum cryptography and TAn
reconfiguration over the air mechanism to ensure sustainability. In conclusion, this Trust Anchor embeds the necessary mechanisms to secure IoT solutions over a long life span (≥ 20 years).<br></div>

SUSTAINABLE IOT TRUST ANCHOR SOLUTION Existing hardware solutions for asserting trust are too resource-heavy for IoT. We propose a Sustainable IoT Trust Anchor solution that enables future-proof cryptography (including post-quantum) to secure IoT solutions over a long life span, with a small footprint and remotely upgradable features. We would like to know what interest you might have in using such a solution. ISSUE Trust Anchor (TAn) is a security module (hard macro and associated firmware) that protects credentials and enforces secure execution of state-of-the-art cryptographic operations in System on Chips (SoC). Existing Trust Anchors are generally designed to withstand the highest level of malicious threats, thereby incurring overhead (e.g., chip surface, latency). For non-critical IoT applications, these solutions would prove to be either inefficient or oversized, and are therefore not adapted to securing IoT communications. Furthermore, existing security modules are rarely designed to be regularly upgraded to adapt to the evolving threat landscape. The proposed architecture is based on RISC-V and supports both post-quantum cryptography and TAn reconfiguration over the air mechanism to ensure sustainability.
