The Songbook Academy in Concert is an exciting showcase of the next generation
of artists celebrating the enduring influence of the American Songbook. Hosted
by Michael Feinstein, this multimedia concert features talented young vocalists
from across the nation in solos and production numbers paying tribute to iconic
composers and lyricists of American popular music from George Gershwin to Duke
Ellington. These emerging artists infuse their performances with passion and
skill, breathing new life into classic songs that have defined generations. The
Songbook Academy® is the flagship education program of the Great American
Songbook Foundation.
