ABOUT ME

As the over the top banner above mentioned, my name is Jonathan Zeray.

I'm a former professional Muay Thai fighter currently studying Frontend
Development at Hyper Island.
Throughout my academic career and free time, I have worked on numerous projects,
which has allowed me to gain valuable experience working alone and coding within
a team.

I've got a passion for creating, designing, solving problems and working with
others.


I'm currently looking for internship opportunities between 25/9-2023 to
29/3-2024.







PROJECTS

Project #1


REACT NIKE MOCKUP SITE

A project I made together with three group members during our first React course
at Hyper Island. We were given a Figma Design of the desktop view and created a
1/1 copy with code and designed the mobile version ourselves.

I had a leading role in the group during this project. I did a lot of designing
and I was responsible for handling the products page and cart functionality,
which gave me a chance to learn more about working with React and it's state
management.

Project #2


MUHAMMAD ALI GALLERY

An image gallery with images of Muhammad Ali. Started of using Midjourney images
since I want to learn how to incorporate and utilise AI in my work more.
Switched to Muhammad Ali, a childhood idol.

This project is done completly with HTML, CSS & JavaScript. First time I have
had a project with a design-first thinking. I struggled and learned a lot about
working with CSS, JavaScript and mouse move events. A project that showed me how
fun creative development is.

Project #3


EXPLORING SPACE PROJECT

A school group project made for desktop view. We created an interactive
educational website about space. With immersive audio, visuals and animations by
using React, Vite, Three Fiber, GSAP, Framer Motion and Aframe for a VR
experience.

All 3D animations were either made or modified by me in Spline. We worked in 4
sprints during the project and utilized Jira for task management. The result was
a site that made learning about space a visually exciting adventure.
