Sessions Overview
Session 1
Alexia – Exploring All Things Steampunk pt.1


You’ll be introduced to all things Steampunk and create a dress for Alexia,
focusing on the direct application of fabric to the body technique. Patti will
then guide you to make bucked shoes and how to create the vintage look.

Session 2
Alexia – Exploring All Things Steampunk pt.2


Following on from Session 1, Patti will develop your skills further to enable
you to create an elegant hat from silk & craft foam, sew a fancy clutch purse as
well as make a lovely water coloured face. You’ll also be introduced to some
other inspirational dolls created by friends.

Session 3
Bernadette – Provençal Gal Heads to Paris pt.1


In this session you will develop skills to create the perfect outfit for
Bernadette, the provençal doll! Master dispersing dyes and heat transfer of
appliqué, bead ball joints, embroider feather stitch with beads and created
beaded stamp tattoos and heat set crystal accents.

Session 4
Bernadette – Provençal Gal Heads to Paris pt.2


In addition to your learnings from Session 3, Patti will guide you to create
Hats, Handbags & Hat Pins. You’ll also discover the art of a tulle skirt and
high heeled shoes as well as learn to use marker pens to create a beautiful
face. You’ll complete the session feeling inspired through the works of friends
in the industry.

Session 5
Li Mei – Inspiration from Asian Fabrics & Literature pt.1


Over the next two sessions you’ll work on Li Mei, a doll inspired by Asian
fabrics and literature. In this session, Patti will introduce two ways to drape
a gown on the doll’s body alongside how to create and Obi Corset, from sewing
fabric tubes for embellishments, to ribbon roses & crystal flowers, and finally
putting it all together.

Session 6
Li Mei – Inspiration from Asian Fabrics & Literature pt.2


To complete your work from Session 5, Patti will further your knowledge and
skillset by preparing you to create a pouch for Li Mei. This will encompass the
skills of making a lucet braid and choosing fabrics, sewing a crazy patch pouch
and making a pair of lotus-inspired shoes. To complete this session, Patti will
discuss the art of organza Faerie Wings and adding embellishments to hair before
once again appreciating the inspirational work of friends.

Session 7
Presenting your Dolls


In the final session of the series, you will master the art of presenting your
dolls. You will become aware of the considerations to be made when travelling
and displaying your dolls and will consider the inspirational presentations seen
by doll-making friends.

A comprehensive, in-depth Masterclass Pack is provided upon purchase to this
course. Course members will receive access to a full materials list, plus a
bonus doll pattern provided by Patti.

Galli Creative

Galli Creative produces educational workshops focused on textile, stitch,

you have logged-in, visit ‘My Account’. You will be able to see the classes you

How long is the Masterclass? 

Our Masterclasses vary in length, with some being one-session specials and
others Masterclass series. You can find out the length of any Masterclass by
viewing its details on the Immediate Live website.

Can I preview a Masterclass?

For our On-Demand Masterclasses, you can get a feel for the style of the
Masterclass, its key learnings and who the tutor is by watching the trailer for
the session(s) before purchasing.

How do I access my Masterclass once I have bought it?

For both our On-Demand and Live Masterclasses, you will be able to access the
sessions through your account. Click ‘Login’ in the top right-hand corner of the
Immediate Live website, once you have logged-in, visit ‘My Account’. You will be
able to see the classes you have purchased under the ‘My Content’ tab. From here
you can view your Masterclass.

Is there a limit to how many Masterclasses I can access?

There is no limit to how many Masterclasses you can enjoy!

Am I able to interact with my instructor? 

During our Live Masterclasses you will be able to interact with our tutors using
the chat function.
If you have purchased an On-Demand Masterclass, we will keep in touch to let you
know when the next of our live tutor sessions are taking place. These live
sessions are your opportunity to speak directly to the tutor.


ACCESSING MASTERCLASSES

Once I have bought the Masterclass, how long can I access it for?

On purchasing your Masterclass you will have unlimited access* to enjoy it!

You can revisit classes you have already seen by logging-in to your account. You
will be able to see the classes you have purchased under the ‘My Content’ tab.
From here you can view your Masterclass.

If you would like to check when you purchased the Masterclass you can do so by
going to ‘My Account’ and looking under the ‘Order History’ tab.

*Immediate Live reserves the right to provide customers 60 days notice of the
removal of any content from its website.

Do I have to complete the Masterclass within a specific time frame?

No! You can complete our On-Demand Masterclasses at your own pace and even
revisit sessions after viewing them. You have unlimited access* to the
Masterclass content.

I bought the Masterclass on sale. Does this affect how long I have access to the
Masterclass?

Buying a course in the sale does not affect your access to it, you will still

When do I need to be online?

For our Live Masterclasses you will need to be online for its start time, as
stated on our website.
For our On-Demand Masterclasses you can login and enjoy the sessions any time,

account and revisit previously viewed content for 10 years (3650 days) from the
date of purchase.

TECHNICAL QUESTIONS

What type of device / browser do I need?

You can use any browser to access our website. For optimal user experience we
recommend using Google Chrome or Safari.

Can I download the Masterclass that I have bought? 

Unfortunately not, our Masterclasses are only available to view through the
Immediate Live Website.

Can I download prep materials before the Masterclass begins?

Yes, after you have purchased your Masterclass you will be able to download any
supporting documents you need on the Masterclass page ahead of taking part in
the session.

I can't find my Masterclass in my profile/I'm having trouble playing my course.

Please check the ‘Order History’ tab in ‘My Account’ to ensure that your order
been successful. If it has, your Masterclass will appear under the ‘My Content’
of ‘My Account’.

I forgot my login information; can I have it sent to me?

You can generate a new password for your account by clicking ‘Lost your
password?’ in the login area. The new password will be sent to your registered
email address.

Why can I not see a course in my order history?

To see your previous orders, login to ‘My Account’ and view the ‘Order History’
tab. Here you will be able to see all of your successful orders. If you cannot
see a course here, the order may have been unsuccessful and you should try to
repurchase or contact your payment provider for support.


PAYMENT QUESTIONS

How can I pay for a Masterclass?

To pay for a Masterclass, you will need to click ‘Buy Now’ to add the
Masterclass to your basket and click ‘Proceed to Checkout’. You will then need
to login or create an account on Immediate Live’s website, which will create
your own portal to view all of your content. Here, you can purchase your
Masterclass by inputting your card details.

We currently accept payment by Credit Card, Mastercard and Visa.

If I don't like the Masterclass, am I entitled to a refund?

Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds on purchased Live or On-Demand
Masterclasses.

I can't complete the payment, what can I do?

We’re sorry to hear that you can’t complete your payment. In the first instance
we ask that you check with your payment provider to understand whether the
payment has gone through and to check your order history in ‘My Account’. If
there is still an issue and your payment cannot be completed, please contact us
at: masterclasses@immediate.co.uk

What is included in the price of the Masterclass?

The content within each Masterclass varies. You can find out more about what’s
included in the ‘About’ & ‘Session Overview’ tabs on the webpage of each
Masterclass.


USING THE WEBSITE

What happens when I like a Masterclass on the website?

Liking a Masterclass saves it to your ‘Wishlist’ for 30 days. You must be logged
in to save a Wishlist, and you can find this in ‘My Account’. Once you have
saved a product to your Wishlist you are able to come back and purchase the
Masterclass at a later date (within 30 days).

How do I search for a Masterclass on the Immediate Live website?

You can use the search function by clicking on the magnifying glass icon in the
top right corner of the website and typing in a key word, phrase or tutor name.
You can also browse and search Masterclasses by clicking on the ‘Search’ option
on the ‘Online Masterclasses’ page.

How do I use the filter functionality for Live Masterclasses?

To refine your search, click on the filter icon to see all filter options.
Select the fields you would like to filter by and click ‘Apply Filter’.

To reset these fields, click ‘clear all’.
