A great foundation applies beautifully just about every time, matches my skin
tone well, is long-wearing while also fading evenly, and sits well on skin. A
good foundation will do the same things, just not as well.

A good eyeshadow will be pigmented, blendable, and have decent wear, while a
great eyeshadow will have better wear, less fallout, and a more
forgiving/flattering texture on skin.
