OVERVIEW

PBSC’s cleanroom glass doors, also referred to as laboratory doors, hospital
doors, healthcare doors, NHS doors, and medical doors create a showpiece
appearance to any facility and provide ideal functionality.

The cleanroom doors from PBSC play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity
of controlled environments by preventing the entry of contaminants and are
designed to meet stringent cleanliness and hygiene standards required in
industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, electronics manufacturing,
and healthcare.

This glass door, with its open space feel, allows personnel to observe processes
without compromising the controlled environment, making this cleanroom door set
a preferred option for operatives working within the confines of a laboratory
environment.

It combines the toughened glass door leaf and the clean lines of the
stainless-steel frame. Made with 10mm toughened tempered glass, which is
extremely strong, providing high levels of impact, scratch, and chemical
resistance.

Available with PBSC’s unique concealed closer system. Uniquely developed to
include a single closer arm in solid stainless steel and a closer sealed into
the door frame. Which in turn eliminates the ledges and the difficult-to-clean
arms.

A BACTERIA-RESISTANT DESIGN

This beautiful door set offers exceptional cleanability with no cavities in the
leaf giving no space for bacterial growth – suitable for any healthcare or
medical research facility.

Flush Maglock

The PBSC magnetic lock (maglock) is a reliable security system that can be used
with various access control systems and entry devices. It consists of an
electromagnet that is mounted flush on the glass door frame and generates a
magnetic field to attract the armature plate, ensuring that the door remains
securely locked. With a high holding force, this lock provides reliable and
effective security for your premises.

Cleanroom Stainless Steel Door – A robust, well-engineered steel door system
with a seamless frame and flush vision panel. Purpose-built for laboratories and
medical research facilities, this strong and long-lasting door set helps
eliminate possible contamination.

Phenolic Resin Door – Manufactured with a solid core of chemical grade phenolic
resin ideal for laboratory, cleanroom, and corrosive environments. This phenolic
resin door set has a higher resistance to damage and has no hollow cavities
where contamination can be ingested.

Emergency Escape Panel – Providing a quick escape from a cleanroom or
containment-controlled environment.  The escape panel is quick to remove and
clearly marked. It takes approximately 6 seconds to entirely remove the
lightweight panel providing a fast means of personnel escape when needed.

High Containment Inflatable Seal Door – Perfect for high-traffic applications
where superior airtight containment is needed, the door’s seal is inflated by
compressed air against the curved frame, providing exceptional leak resistance.
The containment-controlled door frame is flush with the floor, eliminating
obstacles or trip hazards.

High Containment Mechanical Seal Door – Suitable for all types of containment,
the seal doesn’t need compressed air making it a fail-safe airtight barrier in
case of a power outage. The door frame features a stainless steel arm that can
easily compress the combed edge against the seal. This mechanical mechanism is
installed within the frame, which ensures that the door is lighter and easier to
maintain.

PLANNING PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE AND SERVICING

Made from sturdy, smooth, and non-porous materials, with a Zintec sub-frame,
stainless steel architrave, and shroud. The door leaf is 10mm thick toughened
glass, which can be clear or tinted. It comes with a stainless steel adjustable
hydraulic closer, closer arm, restraining rail, and D-handles.

PBSC’s cleanroom glass doors are designed to meet the cleanliness and
classification standards required for the specific cleanroom environment in
which they are installed.

The glass door set can be customised to meet specific size, design, and
functionality requirements of the cleanroom or containment-controlled facility.

Available in a single door, double door, or a leaf-and-a-half construction,
customised to fit existing walls and features bespoke frame sizes, a
stainless-steel frame, or a powder-coated full wrap-around shroud.

With a range of tints, screen prints, printed films, and etched glass, PBSC’s
cleanroom glass doors can fit into any area or décor.

This door set has no cavities, making it easy to clean and inhibit bacterial
growth.

Resistant to contamination and can withstand cleaning with common disinfectants
and cleaning agents.

The smooth surface of the glass makes it easy to wipe down and sanitize as
needed.
