Get Hopping: Easter Eggtastic is Saturday
The City of Greer is celebrating Easter a week early this year by hosting its
annual Easter Eggtastic event at Greer City Park on Saturday, April 1.   
Ingles manager recognized for life-saving action
Alex Collie began working as a manager of the Locust Hill Road Ingles last
September. Just a few months later in December, she helped save a customer’s
life. On March 14, she was recognized with a Life Saving Award for her efforts.
City purchases Depot St. site
The City of Greer recently purchased a building in downtown Greer as part of
Project Indy. The property, which is owned by J-Max, LLC and is located at 268
Depot Street, was purchased at a price of $549,000. The 3,560 square-foot
building sits on a 7,405 square-foot lot.
Tigers on a Tear
Blue Ridge baseball is tearing through everyone in its path. The Tigers
continued their hot start to the 2023 season with five consecutive wins,
including three wins in three nights. Against Daniel on March 14, junior AJ
Cammarota recorded 12 strikeouts and allowed only one hit in five innings as
Blue Ridge cruised to a 7-1 victory.

for 38 years, right alongside her husband.

GET HOPPING: DUNCAN TO HOST MAGICAL EASTER

On Friday, March 31, Duncan is hosting a Magical Easter Event and egg hunt at
the Duncan Event Center. The event will last from 5-8 p.m.

The egg hunt will consist of 10,000 eggs for children of all ages to collect.
The event will include face painting, prizes, food trucks, a DJ, bounce houses,
train rides, and a petting zoo.

GET HOPPING: EASTER BUNNY TO VISIT LYMAN THURSDAY

The Town of Lyman is hosting its annual Easter Fun event on Thursday, March 30,
from 6-8 p.m. at the Lyman Event Center at Pacific Place.

The Easter Fun event will include an Easter bunny for pictures, Easter egg
painting, and Create a Cutie services for children to pick out a stuffed animal
and take it home.
