drawn/cold finished steel bar, wire, rod and specialty (custom) profile shapes.
We manufacture value engineered products designed to save our customers money by

We have been cold-drawing steel wire and steel bar for more than 130 years, and
we currently produce both standard and custom special steel shapes at two
manufacturing facilities located in the Greater Pittsburgh area.

The quality and uniformity of PRECISION KIDD STEEL products begins with the raw
materials we receive from our suppliers. To ensure quality and consistency, we
have developed comprehensive raw material specifications. To become an Approved
Supplier, prospective supply partners (both domestic and international) must
agree in writing to provide materials that meet or exceed the requirements of
this specification. This practice, combined with our precision cold draw process
and experienced steel bar, wire and rod production teams, enables PRECISION KIDD
STEEL to deliver superior products with guaranteed productivity and performance
benefits vs. competing technologies.
