Government of Uttarakhand is organizing ‘Uttarakhand GIobal Investors Summit
2023' (UKGIS) on 8-9 December 2023. The Summit will host strategic conferences,
panel discussions, round-table deliberations, presentations, and roadshows in
various parts of India and abroad along with one-to-one business meetings. It
will bring together leading investors from all over the world, senior government
officials and local business communities for interactions on the investment
environment and opportunities in Uttarakhand.
Uttarakhand is a preferred investment destination with double digit growth in
employment rate in last two decades, 2.5 hours connectivity to Delhi-National
Capital Region, abundance of natural resources, 70% working age population,
achiever in ease of doing business, top performing 6 industrial parks of State,
more than 10% of India’s auto component production, among top 2 Pharma
manufacturing States in India, Boarding school capital of India, among others.
In order to apprise the Industry community about the investment climate in
Uttarakhand the collaborative opportunities present and the Summit, a delegation
of government leaders from the State led by Hon’ble Chief Minister of
Uttarakhand, Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami along with senior bureaucrats from the
Government, would be in Mumbai on 6 November 2023.
CII and the State Government would jointly organize an Investor Showcase
Roadshow for the UKGIS from 1100 hrs followed by lunch on 6 November 2023, at
Hotel Taj Mahal, Apollo Bunder, Colaba, Mumbai.
