Schoeller Allibert are looking to recruit a Test Engineer to join the Quality
Team on Days.

Job Purpose:

 * To conduct extensive testing of all WFD products - current, and then all
   products at different levels of regrind.
 * To be the project engineer to manage all NPI products into Production,
   ensuring all samples, trials, and documentation have been complete.
 * To be the manager for all samples and trials.
 * Conduct all raw material inspections and tests.
 * After Blackthorn - move to more QA activities while still conducting and
   managing any testing, and controlling the release of products into
   Production.

Job Skills

 * Bachelor’s degree, Technician cert in mechanical, industrial, or test
   engineering.
 * Minimum four years of relevant work experience. (Preference from within the
   plastics industry).
 * Familiarity with relevant testing tools (e.g. Apache, Selenium, JMeter,
   TestStand, and LabVIEW).
 * Knowledge of diagramming software, such as Microsoft Visio or AutoCAD.
 * Previous experience as a Test Engineer or similar role.
 * Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS).
 * Knowledge of quality standards and regulations.
 * Analytical mindset.
 * Additional certification or experience in Quality Assurance is a plus.
 * Excellent knowledge in testing skills and methodologies (design test plan and
   test strategy, writing test cases, executing test cases, opening bugs,
   verifying bugs).

 * Team player.
 * Great interpersonal and communication skills.
 * Operation of Microsoft Office packages (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
   Teams, Visio) and other specialist programs such as Mattec, IFS, Polyworks,
   etc., 3D scanner (after training), calipers and other inspection and
   measuring equipment.
 * Good numerical ability and Attention to detail.

 * Highly motivated and enthusiastic, with a 'can do' attitude.
 * Excellent time-management skills and commitment to meet deadlines.
 * Ability to work with various departments to facilitate the orderly execution
   of a proposed project plan.
 * Extensive knowledge of engineering and testing procedures.
 * Good problem-solving skills with the ability to project manage.
 * Ability to troubleshoot and think out of the box.
 * High-level of technical writing skills and able to work unsupervised.
 * Confident dealing with people at all levels in the organisation.
 * Able to change priorities and re-set deadlines as business needs change.
 * Maintain a stable performance in stressful situations - not easily flustered.
 * Good communication skills - able to get the key messages across in a concise
   and clear manner.
 * Good interpersonal skills, enabling the development of good working
   relationships with all personnel.
 * Able to make and stick to decisions having determined the facts and evidence
   in advance.
 * Shows initiative in all areas of the role
 * Logical thinker, solves problems in a structured manner.
 * Is focussed on preventive actions.
 * Drives for continual improvement and drives for robust systems - no single
   point of failure.
 * Takes everything as far as they can - doesn't just stop at the first refusal;
   searches for solutions elsewhere (online, other colleagues, etc.).
 * Looks for the Long Term Corrective Action (LTCA).
