Graphite is the largest component in an electric vehicle battery and it is all
manufactured and shipped from China. To meet EV demand we need multiples of
current world production. For North American automakers and battery
manufacturers there is a secure, domestic and environmentally sustainable
natural source of supply…Northern Graphite.
Graphite is not just the "lead" in your pencil. It is also the largest component
in an electric vehicle battery. To meet EV demand current world graphite
production needs to increase by multiples and right now it’s all manufactured
and shipped from China. How green is that?
There is a Natural, North American solution…Northern Graphite
Today’s electric vehicles are powered by batteries made from graphite shipped
all the way from China. How GREEN is that? How about a natural, North American
solution………..Northern Graphite
There is 25-100 kilograms of #graphite in the Li ion battery of a single
#electricvehicle and most graphite still comes from China. To meet demand flake
graphite production needs to more than double by 2025. North American automakers
could access a more secure, regional supply from projects like Northern
Graphite's Bissett Creek in Canada.

Four High Quality Assets
Northern owns the Lac des Iles (LDI) mine in Quebec, the only significant
graphite producer in North America. Northern plans to increase production and
extend the mine life.
Northern is currently upgrading its Okorusu processing plant in Namibia. It will
be back on line in 1H 2023 and make Northern the third largest non Chinese
graphite producer.
Northern plans to develop its advanced stage Bissett Creek project in Ontario
which has a full Feasibility Study. It has been rated as the highest margin
graphite deposit in the world.

The Okanjande deposit in Namibia has a very large measured and indicated
resource. Northern intends to study building a 150,000tpa plant to supply
battery markets in Europe.
