THE END (OF LEGACY) IS NEAR! (NOT A SCENARIO)

Yep, you read the title correctly. I know quite a few people out there are
probably still fairly peeved about the whole UI switch, so here’s a little more
fuel to that fire. On December 31st of this year, the old version of AI we have
been using for the past four years will be shut down and unusable in the new
year. It’s been announced on discord for a while now, but I wanted to share the
news here. - In some better news, I’d like to hear some requests or suggestions
you fine folks out there may have. I have some cool concepts in anticipation for
the heroes update, so let me introduce them: 1. New World Hope A spiritual
successor to my old Fallout sandbox scenario. With the map system being
introduced with the heroes mode, I plan on recreating the map of Old World Blues
(the best Fallout 2 sequel, fight me) so that the player can explore a big
wasteland filled with a whole lot of wacky things. 2. Warzones of the World A
wacky crossover setting where your character forms a mercenary company and have
to fight their way to the top in all sorts of different places. People and
places from games such as Far Cry, Call of Duty, Jagged Alliance, and much more
will be available to interact with. 3. Payday: Copycat gang This one’s pretty
self explanatory. It take place between Payday 2 and 3 and has you making a
heisting crew and ravaging whatever city you decide to start in. - That’s pretty
much all I had to say until today. In the process of being lazy and not
finishing this, the devs put out two whole new AI models, which I will refer to
as tree model and SHADOW WIZARD MONEY GANG. Tree model is free for all players
and is about twice as good as griffin, and SHADOW WIZARD MONEY GANG is a premium
model that is as smart as ChatGPT, but with no content restrictions like dragon.
Overall, the year is wrapping up nicely for AI Dungeon. Happy late 4th birthday
