FINANCING YOUR EDUCATION

Tuition and expenses for a student for the academic year 2022-2023 are shown
below. This student budget represents the standard Cost of Attendance set by
Student Financial Services, and it can vary only slightly depending on family
size. This figure represents the limit on all forms of financial aid, including
scholarships, fellowships and student loans.  Additional living costs may vary
widely, depending on your lifestyle, the size of your household, and other
personal details.

Most of our graduate students make one tuition payment before each term (August
1 for Fall and January 1 for spring). Students also can choose the MIT monthly
payment plan, which allows them to pay tuition in ten installments over the
course of the year. Learn more about your payment options here.

FINANCING YOUR EDUCATION

Support typically includes personal savings, loans, fellowship/scholarship
awards, government or employer sponsorship, or some combination of these. Once
you are admitted to the MIT Sloan MBAn program, you will have access to detailed
information about the financial aid process on our admitted student website. The
process is slightly different depending on whether you are an international
student, a U.S. citizen, or a permanent resident.

Domestic students or International Students with a domestic co-signer have an
array of loan options, including federal subsidized and unsubsidized loans,
while options for International Students with no cosigner are more limited.
Please contact Sloan Student Funding at studentfunding.mitsloan@mit.edu with any
questions or concerns.

Available Fellowships
A limited number of fellowships are available and are awarded to admitted
candidates of all citizenships and academic backgrounds. All admitted candidates
are considered for these fellowships. Fellowships are awarded to individuals
with outstanding academic records, personal achievements, and professional
promise.

Assistantships
MIT Sloan appoints a number of MBAn students to teach and research
assistantships that vary in workload and stipend percentage. While helping
students cover their expenses, these competitive positions offer outstanding
exposure to the school's educational research programs. Responsibilities may
include working one-on-one with students, assisting in research, and grading
assignments and examinations.

THE MISSION

The mission of the MIT Sloan School of Management is to develop principled,
innovative leaders who improve the world and to generate ideas that advance
management practice.
