WELCOME TO THE


2021 PRODUCT SAFETY AWARD CEREMONY








The EU Product Safety Award rewards businesses that go the extra mile to protect
consumers.

There are two Award categories for 2021: protecting the safety of vulnerable
consumer groups, and combining safety and new technologies.

The winners will be announced during a high-level virtual ceremony, taking place
on 28 September between 3pm and 6pm.

As part of the awards ceremony, the winners will share their best practices and
reflect on how to raise product safety in the EU.

The event will be hosted by European Commissioner for Justice Didier Reynders
and attended by high-level representatives of the EU institutions, national
authorities, consumer organisations and other stakeholders.

Media briefing

European Commissioner for Justice Didier Reynders will deliver a virtual media
briefing and answer questions from registered journalists before the start of
the official prize-giving ceremony. To attend this briefing, please register on
