The world’s third-largest market for e-book readers, mainland China, is also
home to a substantial number of manufacturers looking to secure an ever-larger
share of the sector, yet many are rethinking their business models in light of
fierce competition and changing consumer expectations.
Mainland Chinese Company Targeted for Alleged Violation of Iran Sanctions
The Bureau of Industry and Security recently issued an administrative charging
letter against mainland China’s Far East Cable for allegedly causing, aiding
and/or abetting violations of the Export Administration Regulations.

Administration recently released a Catalogue of Commercial Cryptography Products
Subject to Certification (Second Batch), which took effect on 10 July 2022. The
catalogue covers trusted cryptography modules, cryptographic key management
systems for smart cards, cryptographic cloud servers, random number generators
and blockchain cryptography modules.
