5G networks are being built using container-based architectures, and in
particular Kubernetes, bringing many benefits to service providers. However,
experience with Network Function Virtualisation (NFV) has shown that we should
not consider Cloud-Native Network Functions (CNFs) as just another
virtualisation technology.

To benefit from cloud-native techniques, service providers must get to grips
with a range of unfamiliar operations. This session will highlight the key
changes that need to be considered when moving to CNFs. We will discuss:


 * The advantages of moving to a GitOps model
 * The importance of changing the "source of truth" for new deployments
 * How standard Kubernetes patterns can be used in telco use cases
