.01 WHAT DOES REMEDIAL MEAN?
Remedial means it can correct, “remedy” and rehabilitate injuries or disease.
Remedial massage is intended as a targeted treatment for pain and injury. It is
far beyond just a relaxation massage, although it is still a wonderfully
relaxing experience! Our Remedial Massage Therapists at Empowering Wellness
Burleigh Heads, have studied and prepared themselves for longer than many of
their colleagues and must thoroughly understand the way the body works and the
tissues they are treating.
.02 CAN I CLAIM MASSAGE ON PRIVATE HEALTH FUND?
Certainly, yes! All our Massage Therapists are Qualified and Registered with
HICAPS so you can swipe your Private Health Fund card and ONLY pay the remaining
gap.
.03 HOW MUCH WILL MY PRIVATE HEALTH FUND PAY?
This percentage depends completely on your Fund and level of coverage. In
average, they will cover between a 30% and 60%, so you only need to pay the
remaining balance after your treatment, and that is great news!
.04 WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF REMEDIAL MASSAGE?
Remedial massage may quickly ease conditions such as back pain, sciatica, upper
back or cervical pain, headaches, sports or accidental injuries, tension due to
stress, pain due to bad posture and many more complaints that can be relieved
with a remedial treatment.
If you have particular muscle tension or chronic pain, our remedial massage
therapists will perform some tests to identify which muscles give you trouble
and tailor a treatment plan to suit.

.01 HOW DOES IT WORK?
It works by sending an electromagnetic signal of extremely low intensity to the
bio-field around the brain via specially designed headphones. Every cell tissue
or organ has its own unique frequency pattern that varies as it experiences a
load or stress. If the patient’s frequencies in an organ or tissue are near the
average of a healthy organ or tissue, it’s considered normal.
The software is very visual, so you will be able to see colourful images of the
tissue, organ or system clearly on the screen. The Physiospect can scan and
treat every part of the body including heart and circulation system, lungs,
stomach and intestines, the reproductive system, the skeletal bones, muscles,

After discussing your history, the practitioner selects the tests to be run. The
client sits beside the practitioner wearing specialised headphones, which are

system provides symbols on the organ or tissue being scanned, indicating its
condition. Any areas under stress, will then be treated.

Initial Consultation, Diagnosis and Treatment. One hour duration: $ 150.-
Follow up Treatments and Diagnosis. 40 minuts: $ 120.-
