Started in 1931 by James V Marra after converting the family fruit and vegetable
stand into a pharmacy. When Jim passed away suddenly in 1970, his daughter
Barbara McDonald, a newly minted pharmacist took over while raising six sons
with her husband John. Her eldest son John joined the business as a pharmacist
in 1980 and is still there today working with the next generation of ownership
with Pharmacy Manager Raghu Thota, Pharm D.
