OUR PLACES

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Our cultural places are unique, each developed in response to the needs and
aspirations of their community.

They can be meeting places, keeping places, creative spaces, trading sites,
places of engagement, interaction, sharing and understanding.

Equally they can be places for celebration, commemoration, memories and cultural
exchange towards building community strength, self-determination and identity.

ABOUT US

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ACHAA is the peak body for Aboriginal cultural assets across New South Wales
such as cultural centres, knowledge centres, language centres, galleries,
museums and keeping places.

The NSW Aboriginal, Culture, Heritage& Arts Association (ACHAA) supports these
cultural facilities so they can be resilient and locally sustainable.
