RELIABLE CLEVELAND WEB DESIGN TEAM FOR OVER TWO DECADES

In 1997, with a brand new degree in Industrial Design, Go Media founder William
Beachy passed on a "real job" to follow his dream: Launching his own design
firm, combining artistry and function. He had no money, but his father was kind
enough to let him move back home and live there rent-free while he got started.
A few years later, William met his business partner,  developer extraordinaire,
Wilson Revehl. Working side-by-side for more than two decades now, they're still
passionate about their work and growing this thriving Cleveland web design
business.

RESEARCH

Good Cleveland web design starts with research. We get to know you, your
customer, your competitors and your industry. This knowledge guides our design.

DESIGN

Wireframes will show you what's on each page and how it functions. Our beautiful
mockups show you exactly how it will look.

We guarantee code quality. We don't outsource anything. All your website code is
written by our staff, right here in beautiful Cleveland, Ohio!

Do I own my website? Expand

Yes. At Go Media, we believe that our clients own the design work we've done for
them.

Many firms hold their clients hostage by restricting the use of the files
they've made. They then charge their clients per use, or refuse to give their
clients the source files. Go Media would never do that to you.

Similarly, platforms like Wix and Square Space are "hosted solutions". A hosted
solution requires that you remain a subscriber, and pay their fees indefinitely.
The second you stop paying, you lose your entire website. You can't take any of
it with you.

At Go Media we are happy to provide our client with all their files - including
source design files like Adobe Illustrator, Phototshop and XD. Additionally, our
websites are built on the most popular open source code. With this approach you
get Ferrari performance at Ford pricing.

If you ever wanted to take your files and go to another design firm - you would
have that ability. Of course, this almost never happens because we treat our
customers right.

Are there subscription fees with a Go Media website? Expand

No. However, every website does have a few things that have to be paid for on an
ongoing basis. Your domain (your URL) must be paid for. This typically costs
about $10/year. Additionally, someone has to host your website. Hosting
typically cost anywhere from $10 - $150/month depending on how big your website
is, and how much traffic you get. And finally, Go Media recommends some kind of
maintenance plan. The internet is a constantly growing and changing thing. To
keep your website performing at it's best and secure, it needs periodic updates
to the software. Think of it like changing the oil in your car.

Go Media recommends you own your own Domain (URL). A domain has real value, like
a piece of property, so never let a design firm own your domain. That would be
like letting someone else own the land you're about to build your house on.
That's a bad idea.

For hosting, Go Media leases dedicated manager servers with Amazon Web Services.
AWS is the worlds largest server company in the world. With that comes
incredible performance and reliability.

Yes. Go Media offers hosting and website maintenance.

Go Media leases dedicated and managed servers with AWS (Amazon Web Services).
AWS is the worlds largest cloud hosting provider and with that comes amazing
performance and reliability. We have several hosting options depending on your
website needs, or we can customize a hosting solution for you.

Go Media only offers hosting to it's own clients. We're not a 'hosting' company.
We're not out to make money selling hosting, we just want to ensure that the
clients we build websites for have a great experience once those sites are live.

Go Media can also warranty your website with our maintenance plan. We perform
all necessary software updates to guarantee that your website is bug free and
secure from cyber attacks. If anything goes wrong while your website is on our
maintenance plan, and we will fix it at no additional charge.

How does Go Media charge for a website? Expand

Typically, Go Media has project based pricing for our services.

To start, Go Media does a through review of your needs. We work up a site map
with a detailed description of any noteworthy functionality or content. Once
that is confirmed with you, we provide you with a written proposal that explains
in detail all the work we will be doing. This proposal includes an exact price,
not an estimate. So long as your project stays 'on scope' (doesn't change), then
your price won't change either.

Once you approve the proposal we bill in equal monthly installments over the
course of the project. The first installment is due at the commencement of the
project, and the final payment is due prior to the website going live.

Any ongoing costs like hosting, maintenance or a service plan are billed either
monthly or annually.

In some cases, we can offer a custom payment plan to suit your needs.

Can you briefly explain your website development process? Expand

Everything Go Media does is iterative. In other words - we work a little, show
you proofs, take your feedback and rework our designs until we get your
approval. We work our way through your project using this step-by-step process.
In this way, we ensure that you’ll be thrilled about our final solution, and
save ourselves from investing too much time in a bad direction.

Here is a more detailed list of our typical steps:

Visual Site Map - Using the approved site map from our sales process, we will
produce a visual flowchart of your site structure. This gives you a 10,000 foot
view of how your web pages and navigation are structured.

Wireframes - As needed, we will produce wireframes (think of these as very rough
preliminary designs) of your web pages. At this point we’re not trying to make
them pretty, we’re just working through the user experience. Wireframes help
us establish the navigation, general page layout, content hierarchy and user
journeys. In some cases we will produce a functioning prototype of your website
so you can click through it to get the best feel for how your website will work
once it’s built.

Designs - Once the wireframes are approved, we’ll start by designing several
homepage concepts. Based on your feedback, we work through several rounds of
homepage designs until you’re thrilled. Using the approved homepage design, we
establish the site’s global styles and interior page templates. Additional
interior pages are also designed in this phase, but most pages are typically
designed in browser.

Development - When the homepage and interior page templates are approved,
we’re ready to start writing code. This work is mostly behind the scenes, but
the result will be a living website live on a stage server that you can view
online.

Design in Browser - After the stage is set up and the initial development work
is done, we can now go in and start building out the rest of your website pages.
We do this work ‘in browser’, meaning that we are designing and coding your
web pages live on the internet. These pages we build are still considered proofs
and you’ll be able to provide feedback just like a normal design proof.

Content Population - As pages are completed we work with you to add images,
copy, videos, documents and any other content you have to the website.

Search Engine Optimization - Using keyword analysis and the Yoast SEO plugin, we
go through the site and make sure all your foundational optimization is in place
for launch.

Quality Control and Launch - Once the pages are fully populated we review the
site thoroughly, testing for bugs and refining the mobile experience. When
everything is to your satisfaction, we launch the website.

WIll my website work on a mobile devices? Expand

Yes. All Go Media websites are built fully responsive. What does 'responsive'
web design mean? Simply put, your web pages scale and rearrange themselves
automatically based on the size of the user's screen. While no website looks
perfect on every device, we do our best to make sure your website looks great on
the most common screen sizes. This includes optimizing your website for desktop,
laptop, tablets and cell phones. Once we complete construction of your website,
you're able to review your website on several devices and give us feedback on
the experience. We can then fine tune the experience.

Do Go Media websites have good SEO? Expand

Yes. Go Media websites are built for SEO. All Go Media websites are built on
WordPress - the internet’s #1 Content Management System. WordPress is widely
considered the best CMS for SEO. Today, WordPress powers 34% of the entire
internet, so we know search engines are paying close attention to them.
Additionally, every Go Media website is preloaded with Yoast, the #1 website SEO
plugin. Yoast allows even a novice to optimize their own website for search
engines.

Using Google’s analytics and tools, we can do keyword research and
optimization for you. We’re also willing to teach you and let you do that work
yourself. The choice is yours.

We recognize that SEO is a very big, complicated and important topic. We’re
here to teach and guide you so you can make informed decisions about how to
tackle your website’s SEO.

Yes.

While Go Media has decided to focus on website design and development, we offer
