Welcome to the first Factiva Insider of 2022! I hope you all had a safe and
prosperous holiday season and New Year’s celebration. 


I’m proud to announce that the always popular Factiva Annual Content Roundup is
now available. Our content strategy team worked hard to bring you many content
enhancements last year.


Now an interesting product insight: We saw double digit growth in Factiva's
Company Screening feature, usage is up over 10 percent YOY. This feature allows
you to build a list of companies to help find prospects and acquisition targets
and to conduct market sizing. Learn more in this video.


Lastly, I’m very excited for what we have planned for this year, accelerating
development across our user interface, feeds, APIs and intelligence product
areas. We already have had a successful January with the launch of a new and
improved mobile newsletter template, as well as more flexible email login
capabilities for Factiva users.

Join members of our global training team this month for one of our many Factiva
training sessions. Factiva for New Users will be available in APAC, EMEA and the
Americas. We also will host Factiva for Advanced Users and Factiva: Companies &
Markets in EMEA and the Americas. 


This month’s speciality training courses are a Factiva for Journalists session

New Mobile Factiva Newsletter Template


We launched a new mobile Factiva newsletter template this month as more users
than ever are reading news on their phones. This new template provides an even
better reading experience, especially when time is of the essence, and will also
positively impact the aesthetic of newsletters published on desktop and tablets.


The template, titled ‘Factiva Contemporary 1’, can be found within the
Newsletter Builder’s template manager. Simply click the Factiva Templates
dropdown to locate it.


Here is a sample of the new template:

New Expert Searches and DJID Codes


We created three new Expert Searches:
 * Transformation: Retrieves news about digital, organizational and strategic
   business transformations (Competitive Intelligence).
 * Supply Chain: Focuses on news about supply chain bottlenecks, delays and
   shortages (Trending Topics).
 * Winter Olympics: Covers news related to the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing
   (Trending Topics).



We also added three Dow Jones Intelligent Identifier (DJID) codes:
 * Mathematics (Subject).
 * Neurodegenerative Disease Drugs (Industry).
 * Snow Avalanches (Subject).
