WOLPERDINGER BOOKENDS

Wolperdinger Bookends is a traditional community retail bookstore that
incorporates the offices of 58 Publishing House. The business model of 58
Publishing House is firmly rooted in the consideration of HOW what is published
can best be experienced by WHO it is published for. As a result, the business
structure is a hybrid model where readers of all ages can visit Wolperdinger
Bookends, both in person and online, to experience a full range of books and
stories.

The bricks and mortar location serves as a traditional local bookstore, offering
a wide range of book genres and bookstore specialty items for sale. The
uniqueness of the bookstore is that the collection of books is offered in a more
experiential-driven structure, making it easier for our patrons to discover
books. In addition, Wolperdinger Bookends features 58 Publishing House specialty
books, including the story and adventures of the brand-new character, Wolpdy, a
Wolperdinger and inspiration for the bookstore. Additional unique 58 Publishing
House works only available through Wolperdinger Bookends include The SuspenseR
DispenseR, Chapisodes Series by crime writer Ruth Reels and, coming soon,
limited First Editions from first time authors.




FEATURED BOOK


"BECAUSE I HAD TO..." - $20

“Because I Had To…” is a collection of newspaper columns by writer Kathy
Naumann. The columns were written in real time over the course of more than 7
years. “Because I Had To…” are short, lighthearted stories or topics, which, at
first, may seem specific to Kathy, but address issues and situations that are
common to most. Kathy shares her experiences with the mundane such as doctor’s
appointments or commuting to work, quarantining, or traveling, in a way that
draws the reader in to her story and makes them feel as though it has happened
to them! The nuanced collection is organized into five thematic chapters of “The
Ordinary,” “Adventures,” “Pop Culture,” “COVID-19,” and “Lessons.”
