AN OUTSTANDING DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

 

The Bute Group has designed and delivered an outstanding development programme
around Impactful and effective presentations to our pre sales and sales teams.

The programme design provided an agile framework that can be individually flexed
depending upon the presentation objectives and audience. This has increased the
teams skills, capabilities and confidence whilst giving them the tools to
prepare and execute sharper and certainly more impactful presentations, to the
benefit of both Bell and Bell’s Clients. We are continuing to engage with Bute
on additional leadership and management development areas.

The 3:2mdc programme has helped me immensely in identifying and verbalising my
short as well as long term goals. My motivation has skyrocketed and I feel
significantly more productive and most importantly happier at work. I now look

progression rather than stressful situations, which increased my work
satisfaction, and surprisingly, the ability to maintain a healthy life-work
balance. There are no bad days, there are only days we can learn from.
There were many take aways, but talking about different styles of managers have
really opened my eyes into why certain people may behave in a specific way, and
even though I still feel like certain behaviour is not acceptable in a working
environment (e.g. win-lose attitude), I feel significantly more tolerant and am
able to identify such behaviour and see how I can turn the situation so

The 3:2 management development programme has made me think about how to approach
different situations in different ways depending on the task and who I am asking
to complete it. The modules that had the biggest influence are; Team member to
team manager – I was made a manager and given a team who are all roughly the
same age, so it is sometimes hard to differentiate between being part of the
time and being a manager. I think it is important to be able gain the respect of
my team for being their manager not just a friend. Time Stealers – Knowing when
to engage and not engage with time stealers. The ROI for both the business and
myself are Better quality and quantity of work output and a more professional
appearance in the office.

The 3:2 Management Development Programme has helped me massively to manage my
day to day task more effectively, making more use of my work calendar to block
out time for my tasks. My key takeaways were Learning Styles and Six thinking
hats – they helped me understand my learning style but also how to identify
others and communicate with them. The six thinking hats has helped me to
structure my way of thinking especially when it comes to new projects. My
