Make sure that all of your passwords are unique, and hard to guess or crack.
It’s never a good idea to reuse passwords, or to use passwords that can be
easily cracked – such as dictionary words, or the names of your family members
or pets. Perhaps even on the main Evernote service itself. Of course, it’s very
possible that those users whose passwords have been put at risk could be using
those same passwords elsewhere on the net.

We are sending email notifications to all affected forum users detailing what
was exposed. For all other forum members, only your email address and birthday,
if you provided one, were taken. If you use that same password on other services
today, please update it. If you created an account on our old forum in 2011 or
earlier, then the hash of the password you used at that time was taken as part
of this incident. We do not store your Evernote password on our discussion forum
servers and you do not need to change it.

The Evernote Service was not affected and your notes are still secure. Our forum
is a completely separate service from the Evernote Service. We don’t believe
that the hacker accessed any private forum messages.

The hacker was able to retrieve our forum members’ profile information. The
vendor that operates has notified us that they had been hacked.

This makes the Line Width slider ambiguous at first. In the Arrow tool the Width
slider DOES control the line width. At the lowest setting individual letters are
outlined, but when you get over 3.0 the outline becomes more like a balloon
effect around entire words. It actually creates an outline AROUND the text. This
slider has nothing to do with the width of the text. The Text tool includes one
poorly-named function - the Line Width slider. Next time I need an exact color
it's back to Google again! So I was forced to waste time Googling to find codes
for the colors I use, then I could add them to the palette for later use. I
almost always use the same few colors for annotating my screenshots and I want
them the same each time, not to settle for something close in the wheel.

If you want any others you must enter RGB values or try to find one you like in
the color wheel. There are now just 12 colors (including black & white) to
choose from. The color picker was considerably changed for the worse and you can
no longer choose from a box of crayons or web-safe colors. I've written several
complaints to the company, and received nothing but apologies and promises to
share my feedback with the development team. Version 4 is a mess! To me it's a
downgrade from v3.

Tone Studio is a great app that actually lets you make signal chains similar to
using a pedal board, but it’s not something you can adjust on the fly. One of
the few weak points of this amp is that in order to properly manipulate the FX,
you have to make changes in the Boss Tone Studio software. The Katana 50 comes
pre loaded with 60 digital recreations of Boss’ most famous pedals. The Katana
may have significantly fewer built in amp voicings, but the selection of on
board FX beats the Positive Grid Spark handily. We really loved the clean tones
from the ‘Plexiglas’ model, and for high gain sounds, we thought that the
Treadplate was the best model.īoth the Katana and the Spark can load additional
amp models, and both options have a healthy community of enthusiasts creating
new models, so while the pre loaded options are limited, there are tens of
thousands of other voicings to download. The amps are mostly inspired by famous
models from most of the big name brands, including Fender, Marshall, and Orange.

The Positive Grid Spark offers a good collection of classic and modern amp
models with 30 built in to the system out of the box. The crunch and brown
voicings gave us some great high gain growl, and the clean setting gave us bell
like clarity. We found them to be punchy and clear, with an exceptional mid
range. Despite the fact that they’re generic, the tones they produce are really
quite exceptional. The Brown voicing is based upon the Boss Waza amp, but the
others are all generic models. The Katana has a good variety of amplifier
voicings (5 presets total), including clean, crunch, lead, acoustic, and brown.
There are, however, some pretty major differences between the two – keep reading
as we learn what separates these amps and how those features benefit the user.

The Boss Katana and the Positive Grid Spark are both quality modeling amps, and
as such have some similar features.
