INSIDE THE FIGHT AGAINST HACKERS
To combat hackers’ misuse of a powerful IT security tool, Microsoft and Fortra
partnered up to seize, block, and disrupt infrastructure linked to “cracked”
versions of the tool. The number of cracked Cobalt Strike servers detected per
day has declined by 25%.

Neurodivergent job-seekers encounter significant barriers when applying for a
job. Mentra’s AI evaluates over 76 data points into a single application which
then uses AI recommendations to connect them with potential employers.

LAYING THE FOUNDATION FOR BUILDINGS OF TOMORROW
Embodied carbon is responsible for 8% of global GHG, yet reducing or eliminating
embodied carbon from concrete and steel is difficult. Microsoft is piloting new
concrete mixes at our Quincy, WA datacenter, with a goal to lower embodied
carbon in concrete by more than 50%.
