Yahoo got in another acquisition on Friday, buying concert streaming startup
Evntlive for an undisclosed sum.

The Redwood City startup announced the deal on its website.



Evntlive was co-founded by Alex Beckman, David Carrico and Jono Beckman. It
raised $2.3 million in seed money since it was founded from investors including
Vint Cerf, Yogen Dalal, Ellen Levy and Steve Wadsworth.

The company said its service would no longer be available and that its employees
are joining Yahoo's video team.

Evntlive was the third acquisition of the week made by Yahoo, following the
purchase of shareable video company Ptch and natural language data startup
SkyPhrase on Monday. It has now acquired 28 companies this year, many of them
acq-hires aimed at beefing up its talent.
